This eighteen hole course plays along and in connection with a nine hole par three ball golf course - be sure to keep this in mind as you read on. The disc golf course itself is well designed with creatively placed baskets that create challenges. Most holes are approachable for players with moderate distance. Tees are marked with very nice signs that hint at the challenges that disc golfers will encounter on this course. Tee signs are marked in yards not feet. While there are eighteen holes of disc golf, there are nine holes of ball golf, this requires players to not only negotiate with faster and slower players on their course but also those playing the other game. Expect rounds to take longer than expected as you negotiate space use with ball golfers and expect ball golf players to not understand that the disc golf course exists. Be prepared to watch for errant golf balls that, while not likely intended to harm you, can still cause injury. Tee pads are gravel and are generally adequate but, for a pay-to-play course are disappointing. The pro shop is largely ignorant about disc golf. While published rates are between $5.00 and $8.00, you may need to point this out to staff. The bottom line is that the challenge of playing along with ball golf players makes this a course that is not really worth playing (pun intended.) If you are willing to pay money to be treated like an annoyance, go for it; otherwise, play one of the many excellent courses that are available in the Twin Cities.

Some broken chains on baskets. A lot of playing through and alongside golf course fairways.
