IMO its the best course in NC, and the best course Ive played for FPO elite events. USWDGC needs to be moved here permanently 👏🏻

The new FPO layout is beautiful!! Fun shot shapes and challlenging, but fair difficulty. Love all the hard work put into making the course look great for USWDGC!

This is the most technically challenging course I’ve ever played 103 courses intol the sport. The design is begging you to develop a powerful forehand. If you miss a wooded line, you are cooked! Baskets are placed in hard to reach places that did not always feel intuitive for a first play. I feel like I have a lot more growth to do before I can learn to love a difficult course like this. Did not love the turf tee pads. They felt lumpy in places and presented a bit of a tripping hazard.

Great use of open spaces to lead into wooded approaches. Constant theme across the layout. Some tee pads are a little lumpy, but they’re long enough that you can find a flat space to use.

Literally the only thing to even note, and I wouldn’t even call it a “complaint” is the teepads are lumpy on the turf tees but it’s not enough to affect the teeshot. Hole 13 has crazy potential, but I think the hole would be better off with a Longer, or shorter teeshot. But currently it’s a tiny chip shot off the tee.

Excellent variety of shots to challenge your whole skillset. The elevation changes here make the course great, something rare for this part of NC. I’m excited to see how well FPO (Kristin) does here in a couple weeks.

“REGULATORS! Mount up!” Plan a full day for this course. The front 9 took me 2 hours. It will not disappoint. Well manicured and laid out. A mixture of par 3,4,&5’s. This course hosts only Blue tees. I’d advise packing a picnic. There is a nice pavilion on tee box 12.

What a gem, most interesting course elevation in central NC and makes you throw every type of shot. I'll be shocked if this isn't in the world top 100 shortly, it measures up well to the best in the state.

Needs a little more work to give it a bounce. On multiple holes had to guess (or scout) which gap into the woods was a fairway and what wasn’t.

Still very rough. Could be a solid course if permanent and maintained.
