@jcporter81
Fun track that’s a bit rough around the edges but the views make up for it.
@brenmarie
I expected this to be a unique experience and it was. This use of space is creative. I assume it’s hard to maintain rough with the terrain and it’s late August so it’s probably at peak. Rough was rough making 7 and 8 nearly unplayable, at least without a spotter. Some signs could help with way-finding, especially from the bottom to top. I think we took the long way. The tee pads are ok. We’ve seen better and worse. I’d like to see some benches. It’s nice to have a portly in the parking lot though.
@kevdog21
Beautiful walk for a dog but pretty rough on plastic with all the rocks..
@eeepeefee
It just needs maintenance. No maintenance in the summer means losing discs in overgrown fairways.
@rbwalch
Very fun hike around (and up) the quarry. First time through requires a bit of trial and error to find hole 6
@thebigthrowdown
Absolutely stunning views with hiking trails a-plenty. You really gotta rely on U-Disc And the signage! And watch where you step, lots of rocks! This Quarry Course ROCKS!
@prestidigit8tor
Cool course in and around an old quarry. 2 teepads and baskets on every hole give good variety. Can be hard to follow with some long walks between holes with no signage. Many areas are very rocky and easy to roll an ankle on. Course has some really nice views of Duluth and Lake Superior.
@harmes
Basically abandoned. Baskets missing, no signs, overgrown. Beautiful spot tho.
@dirtyjaychillin
It has potential to be a great course. Wish there was more signage.
@danieljharper
This course is very unique, having been built in an old quarry. The last three holes are at the top of the ridge and very wooded. In my opinion this course is underrated. It deserves a higher rating mostly because it is so unique and the awesome views from the top of the ridge. But signage/wayfinding is definitely a challenge, so have patience, and be prepared to course correct.
@chrisbgraham
What a bonkers layout! You hike to the top of the quarry to play a couple short little holes that could have been anywhere. Great views though, and a unique disc golf experience.
@mrtwoputt
Tee pad for 7 is a natural rock. Cool idea but it's got large cracks and is uneven. Otherwise the course has real nice pads, good signage and great views. A solid bike up the hill after hole 5 but nothing bad at all. Not cart friendly but I'm not a fan of cards anyway so no stress from me. Playing the pars on the Long to Long layout are super soft. Every hole but the par 3 need to be knocked down a stroke. But I guess it makes you feel good to shoot -11 lol. The multiple pads and pins that are permanent make for lots of options making this the best 9 hole course I've ever played.
@tmarie910
Happy I wore my hiking boots, course is uneven and rocky. Lots of longer distant uphill climbs on 6-9
@sethujohnson
Really fun course. Lots of variety.
@beastman55
A stunning and unique location for disc golf. The design leaves something to be desired. Way too much hiking for too little payoff. Very easy to get lost even when using UDisc maps.
@brianphillips
This place is beautiful, but needs alot of work.. can get over how much work went into putting this course in. But 6,7,8,9 up the cliff is rough, seeing there is no way if mowing and trimming easily here.. I get it. But wow.. worth walking and throwing, does need more navigation signs though..
@noahraisanen
Absolutely gorgeous views. Tough to navigate without uDisc. The crushed rock will chew your disc up, but worth playing for the views.
@tbro0220
This is not a cart friendly course. The signage wasn't clear having never played there. You go on top of the hill after basket 5. It took a while for us and another couple to find it. Good scenery though.
@daturkeyslayer
It's a beautiful course, albeit quite the hike for 9 holes. You absolutely need a spotter for the final 4 holes as the brush and undergrowth is an absolute jungle.
