@griffine
Holes 2-18 are still playable. Hole 1 is not due to construction. Talked to course manager and they have plans to update the track and cleanup overgrown spots especially when the construction is over. But still a neat course as it stands with holes 2-18.
@captainamerica5
Really solid course, some areas need to be cleaned up big time. Also wish there was a full 18. Lots of unique shots, not just a big hyzer fest.
@kcrafty
I’d expect this course to have a 3.7 or 3.8 rating. Pros - Beautiful location on the Jones campus - Variety of shots including a handful of wooded holes - Well maintained, especially the open holes Cons - No teepads, only a sign that marks the start of a hole. On some holes, especially 6, it’s difficult to find a proper line to the basket and not having a teepad makes it extra frustrating - Uncomfortably close lines to softball fields, roads, and water makes it not so suitable for beginners
@rickbeard
Nice course on a beautiful campus. Some holes play a little close to pedestrians on benches and walking trails. Hole 17 has a ditch crossing that would be uncrossable after a rain. (6/24/23) Hole 11 is a blind hole where you throw your drive in an opening in heavy woods. There is a massive oak down in the woods blocking the fairway you can't see from the tee pad.
@colbyb
Very pretty course around the public areas. All of the wooded areas appear to have not been maintained in quite some time. Most of the tee boxes are nicely marked. This course would be excellent if only the wooded areas received some attention. Some nice open shots and others that are very tricky.
@bonbon725
All the wooded holes are really muddy. Hole 17 desperately needs a bridge over the culvert. Overall, a decent course, even if it’s not a full 18.
@brocknroll12
I like the new layout, but it needs a little more TLC to be really great! Also hole 15 and 16 need to be laid out!
@beast337
Work in progess. Has potential. Hole 17 needs to be removed for Udisc. Need a bridge built
@peejer2112
A nice course overall with well-maintained grounds. No mud issues encountered. Some long walks between holes. No other courses near and around Laurel. Will play again when back in town😊
@rruffin
Lots of construction on campus. Few holes pulled. Back on Monday.
@jakemc
Front 9 is bad. Very muddy. Needs upkeep would be a good course. UDisc and tee pad signs don’t match up. Hole 2 basket is MIA.
@yd2KSgx8X9
Keeps standing water in wooded holes
@iamjosh
Holes 5-9 unplayable in woods. Baskets are missing and trails are overgrown. Holes 1-3 , 10-18 are great. In the park on campus around a nice lake. Grass tees
@sullivanway
Map is off on the front 9 . Great course minus the wooded holes.
@jbritt
Pretty fun course. Insanely muddy in the woods though. Bring shoes you don’t care about getting muddy.
@jetman45
Hole 11 is missing the sign for the tee. Muddy on front 9.
