About the course

The course begins with a practice/putt basket on the north west corner of the west parking lot. The course plays clockwise around a walking path through the back of the property. Adding tee boxes in the near future. UPDATE: For now use the newly installed posts with hole signs as the tee location. For added challenge try to play without crossing the path (except hole 9). This will force some nice doglegs. Treat shots that land outside or on the path as out of bounds. As with any course in Eastern Colorado, be on the lookout for local wildlife, lizards and the rare snake.

First off, the wind was absolutely ripping when I visited, which I would highly NOT recommend, so my rating is probably somewhat negatively skewed... Even though this is basically just nine baskets out in a giant field behind a massive church, the layout makes for a challenging round. Some holes are par 4, which seem fair and accurate. But the par 5 hole needs to be changed to a par 4. There are no tee-pads, no facilities, and no obstacles. So really the only “maintenance” that one can expect and hope for is mowing the grass, which they have done. Overall, I did not experience any glaring issues and I have no major complaints, but I also can’t come up with any real selling points for this course. I can’t see myself ever going back unless there was some very specific reason or event or something, which all seem unlikely.

Just a wide open field without a single bush or tree in it. There is plenty of trash from it being a shooting range though. I’d skip this one.
