@laneben
This course was better than expected. Still needs work. Can tell it's getting better with tee pads and clearing fairways. Worth a visit.
@sammymiami
Fun course with unique and short, but technical holes. Couple longer holes mixed in make for a good variety overall.
@jflow0126
Decent course. Looks like they have done a lot to widen the fairways. This course is a forehand players dream.
@pokebr02
Good bones edges are way too thick lost way too many discs five or 6 feet away from the fairway
@wsecord
Bring a spotter. Right lines. Mostly wooded. 4 holes that are open field. Great course just stay in fairway best you can. Tough to find otherwise.
@kevin9880
First time we played this course was in 2023. Hated it. Then we came back this year(2025) WOW!! What a difference 2 years makes. You can see they are putting work into this course.
@doinkem
Course has potential to be very good but needs more clearing, upkeep, and signage. Very easy to lose discs be careful. Fun layout with challenging short holes and a couple longer holes.
@iross808
Nice putt and midrange course. Really only 3 shots accept a driver
@scootladychi
Fun course. Nice mix of short technical wooded holes and some open ones too. New concrete tee pads. Needs a bit of work on signage and wayfinding with the improvements. Needs trash cans and benches, but it looks like someone is starting to put together some benches in the back 9. Will return
@gooseha
Everything was great about the course. No benches or trash cans but overall it awesome.
@dave1kridler
Benches and trash receptacles would be great.
@jonpleghorn
Very fun course.
@awfphoto
Trash bins at some tee boxes would be a great addition. This is probably my favorite course to play in or around Newaygo County. Stay on the fairways because off the fairways you’re more than likely in thorns.
@dirtmccurt
There are 2 options for this course: 1. Find your straightest flying putter and pitch and putt your way through. 2. Play in the winter when there's no snow. This is a winter only course as it sits right now. Most fairways at most wide enough for a vehicle and then so much overgrowth it can be chest high in places. I might be back in the winter to reassess.
@hairlessyetti
I couldn't find the last 6 holes. Tape on the baskets indicating the direction of the next tee would be nice. Also something on the ground marking tee pads, and actual fairways. The course has future potential.
@schmooba123
My opinion: I hate this course. In the winter it'd get a 4.5. But unless you're extremely good, the rough kills any hope of a good round. Everything is purely thorns, and it's so thick that only God's grace will help you find discs. I've played it many times, and it only gets worse.
@brandonwhite
Personally I love technical courses. The first 4 holes ease you into it. Next 3 are short but technical. Out in the field it’s just straight forward. Go for the bomb or play smart easy par. Almost all tees are in and it’s looking GREAT! If you are a newer player or one who likes links style courses this may not be a favorite of yours. For me though I think it’s great!
@jakuphos
I don’t think this course should be ready to play. there needs to be a lot of cleaning and work done before it’s even safe or fun to be playing out there.
