One of the most difficult courses I’ve played in the Midwest. Awesome time, really nice owners.

Beautiful! This will be one of the top courses in the state once word gets out. Much needed in this part of the state too. Every hole is unique and fun. A lot of disc golf courses you go to, and you see holes that are similar to other holes you’ve played at other courses. This doesn’t happen at Hardwoods, every hole is something interesting and unique. It is a difficult course, but not so difficult that’s it’s not fun. It is a great balance of challenge. I could sit there and throw each hole over and over again all day. The owners are very cool, nice people. Thanks for making a great course. We had a blast! Beautiful woods. Like I said, as it is a newer course, once the word gets out, this will be known as one of the best in the state. I can’t wait to come back.

5 stars very well deserved. Fairways cleaned of leaves. Teepads nice and flat Plenty of shot shape and variety, hit the landing zones and get rewarded. Will 100% be back!

Stellar course with so much difficulty. Chaos would be a good way to describe the course, and in a good way. Humble yourself at the Hardwoods!

Great course. A lot of unique lines, great upkeep, have outhouse on some intersecting holes. Only fault was dirt tee pads, but still fine to throw off of

An incredible experience. One of the best courses I’ve ever played. The tone is set right from the start with a fantastic owner happily showing you around and even offering to wade into the river to retrieve any disc lost during the opening 280’ water carry over a river the entire way (it’s a beautiful starting shot). Shot variety is great. Very challenging course but absolutely worth every bogey taken during the round. Only dirt tee pads at the moment, but they are patted down, lined, and very well kept for being dirt.

Just got done playing WOW fun amazing hidden Gem in Northern Michigan. Met the owner Mark very cool guy passionate about disc golf. BTW Mark thank you so much for blowing off the fairways and tee pads made the round awesome. If in the area and want a very fun challenging course then come here best around by far.

Bald Mt, Tobaggan, Goliath, Flip City and... The Hardwoods! Add another course to the list of Michigan's must play big woods courses. Awesome hole variety, demanding every shot you have and some you don't. As the name suggests there's plenty of teeth in the form of tight lines and trees a plenty. Thats to say don't let the beauty of the course detract your focus. O and the owners are awesome 👌!

First of all the owners are welcoming and you can tell the love they have put into their homestead and course. It plays tight lines in the beautiful hilled hardwoods. Super challenging, especially for someone like me who's only been playing a year. I discovered my new career as a lumber jack, chopping a lot of wood, but disc were easy to find off the fairway. Being I normally don't find the fairway often it greatly reduced our time looking for my disc. Vaulted toilet, shelter, and grill places among the course, you could easily enjoy a day exploring the course.

This course is truly on its way to being one of the toughest and nicest courses this side of the state. Be prepared to be sidetracked by interesting vernal pools during your round.
