About the course

Dual baskets and tees make two 9-hole loops that play up, down and around a bowl-shaped park. Lots of elevation change. Roller Coaster thrills recall former West View Park roller coaster. (The Dips)

History

Co-designed by Paul Harkins and J. Gary Dropcho for Ross Township. Officially opened in 2023, The Dips at Denny Park is the first dual tee/dual basket disc golf course in Western Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh Flying Disc/Grip It and Rip It Partnership.

Needs a few tops or steps to make the hills less dangerous. Needs trees removed to create lines on some holes. Needs a bridge over the stream.

A unique hidden gem of Pittsburgh Disc Golf. Two teepad/basket setup on every hole gives tons of variety and keeps every playthrough exciting. A lot of technical shots mixed in with a few opportunities to rip some power shots. Lots of elevation so probably not the best for yinz with mobility issues. Overall fantastic course, feel very lucky to have this gem 5 minutes away from home.
