A true lack of fairways makes this course hard to enjoy. The land is beautiful, and the property is one of a kind, but the course is questionable at best. I’ve played top pro tour courses and this has less of a fairway than most pro tour courses. Seems like luck wins here, not skill.
@mitchbrown
Worst course in the area. Such a shame too because the land is so good for disc golf. There is almost no correlation between how good your shot is and how good the result will be. Holes 2, 10, 13, & 14 are super fun though. Tee areas are big bumpy and not level. Poor execution.
@eldavorino
This would be a great place to put a disc golf course. There are already tee pads and baskets, just need fairways and landing zones
@digbomb
Challenging long wooded course. Cart is fine but long and hilly. Demanding tight tee shots with often undulating turf tee surface isn’t ideal but will play again.
@bicky1
Very tight course. Had some unique baskets and tees inside the bomb shelter things. Some holes became monotonous but I appreciated the challenge.
@tayloredwards
Great course, just not very beginner friendly. The definition of a hike with throwing frisbees. Beautiful property with fun and challenging lines. Love it!
@clark1209
Solid course with a lot of potential. There’s a lot of great holes, but also a few holes that could use to lose a few trees in the middle of the fairway. There are defined lines to hit, but we definitely felt like we got punished on good shots more than we should have. If they keep working on this course, it will be 5 stars. Beautiful property with a lot of potential. Cons: - A few of the holes don’t have defined fairways -Udisc was off in several spots. The signage on the property was significantly more accurate. - Difficult to get to the course in the park. One of the gates to get to the course was closed, so we had to take a 15 minute detour just to get to the course.
@bigbaddawson
Fantastic, heavily wooded, technical, and very long course. Fairways are clean and the rough is not unreasonably thick. Fairways are generally pretty tight but not unreasonably so. However, there are a handful of holes that would benefit from a tree or two being removed from the middle of the fairway.
@sethstankich
Putting this course on my Top 5 list. It does so many things well. Course design is insane and I could see the thought process in the double fairway holes. More appealing lines to hit but more risky if you’re off. I played the safer lines most of the time and still was rewarded with plenty of birdie opportunities. Hole 9 finishes at the parking lot for a pit stop. Holes flow really well together. I’m a sucker for par 4s and 5s and The Corbettas has A TON of them. Several of great par 3s although one or two more “statement” par 3s would have been nice. Course is a bit of a drive through the park to get to but it’s quite worth it, not so much of a quick play anyway. If I lived in the area I would be there very often. Regardless I’ll be sure to go out of my way to get another round in!
@scottpguth
Two or three holes would benefit from a few trees coming down, but it’s tough to complain about a course that’s executed this well. I can see why people <900 would complain about this course, but anyone over 900 should have fun of they’re willing to take on a challenge. I’m 941 rated, can only drive 375-400’, and this course is right in my wheelhouse. (Though I’d still average +10 if I played it 50 times.) Many unique and tough holes that force a variety of shot shapes.
@lukejones
Great course overall. Agree with another reviewer it seems on some holes the chainsaw ran out of gas. Made for some holes that felt like plinko but overall fun adventure
@espear1041
Loved this course overall. Needs concrete tee pads and trees to come out on a few holes to make them less poke and pray. The only hole I absolutely didn’t like was 18, poor design, a par 4 if you hit the gap and push 350 then don’t roll down the hill when you land. Might as well just spike hyzer off the tee into the woods and poke your way through, you’ll get the same score as if you try to follow the designed path. just overall not a good hole.
@chubbycubby
Good use of property. Design seems rushed, but there is some good potential here.
@evanamstutz
This is NOT a beginners course. That being said it was excellent for pros with a wide range of shots. It just needs to be broken in a bit more. The course designers did a great job.
@plstcwstlnd
Solid course! A little more technical off the tee but Comparible to Northwoods black. I think if a few trees are off the longer fairways it will be more practicle for par and even getting just a single bogey. I love to get beat up but it was a bit much on a few holes. Great job though the fairways none the less are clean and beautiful.
@tfuhrmann
Course is great, UDisc was off, be sure to leave by 7:30. The ranger was angry and let me know how angry he was for about 8 minutes before I could leave.
@all4damon
Going to be top course in TN. Pack your lunch, it’s has elevation. I pulled my cart, only a few spots had to carry it. (Not a beginner course)
@millidooms
Teepads are embarrassing for such a potentially prestigious course. Otherwise a solid challenging course.
@mcspider42
Only a 4.5 cuz it’s new and still being cleared out. Incredible course but definitely not a beginner friendly course. More of a challenging advanced level course. Bring water and prepare to hike.
