@chungpels
Beautiful scenery. That’s about all this course really has to offer. Feels like a disc golf course designed by a ball golfer. Not many lines, just straight shots up and down hills. Not for me. Also, put some damn tee pads in. For $15 I expect at least tee pads. Really silly. The fact that you can’t rent carts is also really disrespectful imo. Just go to bonneville if you’re in the area, similar views but free and way more fun.
@istimpy36
Back 9 extremely challenging elevationally and with brambles if you get off some fairways. Would be great to have benches on back 9!
@mrfeeny94
Honestly, this felt like disc golf edging. The front nine has world-class fairways, but the holes are pitch-N-putts with no tee signs or pads. The back nine has great potential but results in looking for your disc due to no tee signs and inaccurate UDisc maps. This course may be fun if you're staying at the lodge but is not a destination course.
@bigberg56
Overall a blast, signage could be much improved as you basically just utilize UDisc. No real tee pads, shots from the path are as good as it gets. If they had ample signage and tee pads this would be 5 stars all day. Very fun shots, beautiful scenery, and mostly to yourself. We threw multiple shots on most holes and only saw 2-groups.
@dice568
Extremely fun course! The layouts on UDisc could be better though. The standard 18 hole layout appears to use a combination of blue, yellow, and white tees depending on what hole you're on. Some tees were shown as "temp" on UDisc so maybe it was a seasonal layout that hasn't been updated. Either way, I HIGHLY recommend playing this course. Reminds me a lot of the Canyon Course at Horseshoe Lake when that still used to exist, and of Kayak Point DGR.
@mericon
Absolutely top notch course. Tee pads would make it five stars.
@goose58
Beautiful course that is super well maintained. Realistically this course is very open which some people might dislike but it leverages elevation and distance control really well which made it fun to play but probably not a great everyday course. Difficulty of it is weird in that the front 9 is super easy and the back 9 is very challenging and there really isn’t any middle ground.
@erikhalvorson
Beautiful course. Fun to play but could be a destination or even world class with a few tweaks. The grounds maintenance is first class. The front 9 is terrific for beginners. But too many ace runs for an experienced player. I had 6 or 7 birdie looks on the front and I'm a 61 year old man with a 280 max drive. They could make the front into 6 holes with just a different flag color, matching an "intermediate/advanced layout. Then adjust the hole lengths on the back. So the full 18 would be 5 or 6 holes in the front and 13 or 12 on the back. A few more holes that cross multiple small ball fairways (like South Fork DGC, North Bend, WA) would be fun and offer more of a technical challenge than just heave-ho distance. I did play rough and paths as OB to make it more technical for me. More accurate signage and tee placement would be a plus, along with turf tee pads. UDisc map was out of date but could be a combo of the maintenance guys not putting the tee indicators back in the proper location after mowing. So much potential.
@kcdptboi
Stunning scenery, great shot variety. Distances/tee placements/pars on UDisc especially back 9 are inaccurate. With some good signage, updates on UDisc, this could easily be a 4.5-5 rating!
@schrecv
Front nine is pretty cool. Back nine, not so much.
@grants555
Great course! Sometimes windy, but incredible views. Course feels a bit “temporary” but I love what they are doing here. Definitely worth a play
@jaxfan208
Beautiful scenic course. Back 9 is a challenge. Hiking involved.
@parmcmuffin
Overall fun course. Great for families. Most of the time, you get the course to yourself. Easy front 9 with a tough back 9.
@jeremiahjohnson
Amazing course, very challenging! Needs an updated smart layout with the new changes to the course
@domkorleone
It's a fun course but they could definitely tweak a few things with the layout so you aren't crossing others fairways and to help with confusion. Also they need some kind of actual tee-pads cause throwing from grass isn't ideal and the gravel pads are straight up dangerous.
@kaptron
Beautiful views.
@younggun99
The view is awesome all over, but there's got to be solid tee pads for this incredible course!
@kbreuner
Super fun course. It’s on their old golf course and still maintained as such. Short tees perfect for beginners. Longer tees great for intermediate players. Paved cart path the whole way, so easy for non players to enjoy the hike and views while you play.
@dcdg83
Beautiful. Front 9 is fun and easy. The back nine is challenging and beautiful but has a lot of room for improvement of design/layout. I heard a rumor there is a course design change in the works… so much potential to be the best disc golf course in the gorge and a top Oregon course imo.
@billdo
New front 9 layout is nice, except for walkout from #9. Back 9 is still "Hell Hill". Great course all together
