@discrabbit
Yeahhhhh had a fun time in the sheep pen
@chumalum
Lovely course. Needs a few tee signs. Beautiful scenery!
@carmanator
Very rustic course, quite muddy when I went so bring good shoes n a towel to dry your discs. In saying this really enjoyed the course! Nice variety. Was only stopping to do 9 baskets n enjoyed so much did full 18! Par's very hard to achieve
@broniep
Can’t play when polo cross is on. They need to have a sign up to state this
@lauried
This is a challenging course requiring some tight lines and careful shot shaping. The layout on UDisc isn’t accurate so try to play the course with one of the local course ambassadors. Pete showed us the lines and also gave us the history of the course.
@zahnay
Hole 10 is missing, gps location of holes is missing, many tees missing, plenty of farm animal faeces.
@jacksonlee78
Played the day after their annual tours, markings will very clear and grass was well cut. Nice variety of holes, ob give some spice. The course maintained by 2 local blokes.
@sheepyg
Amazing course.
@ladywoody
No signage, no tee pads, lots of poos. Even with the app it was tough to find. Your way. Seems to be a locals only course. Has potential!!!
@dankmavis
Few months until she's all ready to go
@danaddo
Navigation difficult, watch out for black berries and cow pats. Interesting hazards. Beautiful spot.
@aimee1812
Fun challenging course! It does have everything; open fields, trees, creeks, uneven terrain & animal poo to avoid. I do like the hanging basket! Downside is signage, some round coloured discs display tee numbers and or a random mowed area as a tee pad. We tried to go off NZDG map & limited course signage adding it to the map here, ran out of time on 13 to be continued.....
@micjes
Great course. Be prepared to dodge cow/horse poo and have great time. There's a course map on newzealanddiscgolf.org.nz which was super useful for us
@charlottemee
It was really hard to find our way. The holes were partially numbered and didn’t clearly explain which basket we were aiming for. It seemed like a fun course but unfortunately we struggled.
@funkind
Great course, some really interesting holes and basket locations. At one point you're playing 3 holes at once! We got in touch with Peter and he was kind enough to show us around the course, which is highly recommended. You can email him from the nz discgolf website. There were cows grazing the grounds when we went, recommend some gumboots or gaiters for the long grass and mud, though we got round in shoes just fine. Otherwise would still be a fun course for a safari round!
@jselwyn
Tees placed around the polo grounds. Lots of horse excrement everywhere. Overgrown grass and weeds. Couldn’t find any tee off points. Okay to make your own holes for practice.
@peejnz
The grounds have had a few changes recently due to the council. No public but some horses to be aware of. OB on most holes and a good variety of technical shots. Distances are reasonable.
