Best time of year to play here! Lots of blind shots and thick rough. Favors RHBH throws but a couple forehand drives required. Spotters highly recommended!

This primarily open links style course features dirt tee pads with good tee signage and Prodigy baskets. Well mown fairways take advantage of elevation changes on the course and bring in punishing rough and water on multiple holes. Many holes can be birdied with moderate length. The open nature of this course makes it particularly challenging in the wind. Would score higher with tee pads. Well worth playing.

Updating my 0.5 star review from last year - I’m giving it an extra star because the only holes that actually suck are 12-16, they cleared out a few of the gaps on the other holes. 2024 review - Updating my 4 star review from last April: After playing another 50 courses since the last time I played this one, I can confidently say that course is bad. I have no idea what the course designer was thinking. Why on earth are we throwing blind shots on literally 2/3 of the holes? Why are we throwing over ridiculously thick rough on so many holes? I used to be frustrated about the lack of teepads. Honestly I’m glad they didn’t waste money on the concrete. The design is so bad, but hey, at least they just put in new signage this year! The most FRUSTRATING part is how much potential the course has. You have a beautiful lake and don’t have any water carry shots? Why not get rid of 13s idiotic RH backhand hyzer and make it a 250 RH forehand? It just doesn’t make sense. I just moved 8 minutes away and will honestly never return unless improvements and redesigning is done. This is THE WORST 18 hole course in the entire metro, and the worst of the 89 18-hole courses I’ve played. I actually think Theodore Wirth is better.
