About the course

This course is open for play, but more work will be conducted in the coming months. As we work, fairways and pathways will become more defined and the playing experience, which is already good, will become better. Please swing back regularly to enjoy our progress. This is a temporary course that is used to demonstrate interest before moving forward with a permanent course on the same site. The more rounds played the faster a permanent course will be constructed. There are nine beginner-friendly holes and nine intermediate holes with a variety of shot types, including open, wooded, elevation change, and water carries. Visitor parking is in Lot 2, which is located on the Lower Campus or by the pavilion formerly known as the Lakeland Bank Pavilion.

Based on the description, it is obviously a work in progress, but it wouldn't take much to make this a very nice course, even as is. The little directional arrows attached to the underside of the baskets pointing to the next tee box are helpful (if you see them). Someone started outlining tee boxes and pathways with dead branches. More of that would go a long way in the short term understanding this is still technically not a permanent course.

You have to make sure to park in the correct lot. Holes are nice for a course-in-development but little more than 9 baskets and an idea. Some of the small amenities need to be added, even just some basic signs, for the course to be taken seriously. All the holes need actual fairways and tunnels for shots, especially 6 (its pinball poke n hope). There is enough room between the current seven and eight for another hole, this allows the back 9 to start by throwing off the big hill. Or make hole 9 throwing off the big hill back towards one. Just let us throw off the big hill :)
