Overall, a fun course and I played it well. But the flood plain swamp on every fairway diminished the fun factor significantly.

Fun course that as the newly planted trees grow up will become very challenging. Currently several shots with open fairways and you just have to figure out the right distance. Other holes are challenging with Mando’s off the tee or tight fairways and many trees. It was a good mix and will grow up to be more difficult. Some of the pars could be addressed. Several Par 3’s were more difficult than the par 4 on hole 1.

Lavonne made very good use of a flat piece of land with limited trees. I played the short pins, and there were some repetitive shots in the middle nine holes. But the long pins looked to have more variety throughout the whole course. Great baskets. Concrete tee pads. Benches at most tee pads. Well-maintained, well-designed course! Will definitely play again.

Some good variety with shot shapes, but some of the distances don't make sense. Edit: it's grown on me and they took care of a lot of the wet spots. Some of the distances still don't make sense. Par 4 471ft hole 1 and then a harder par 3 469 hole 11 with a mando. Should be backwards

Played reds. Mostly open course. Well designed and maintained. Probably only playable from June to Early January due to drainage issues.

Tough course, long, but a good mix of different shots. If you’re in the area, try it out!

Fun bomber course to practice big shots. Open courses ain't really my thing but it's a nice place

Very beautiful course with a good variety of shots and two main layouts. For me, playing the gold allows for lots of practice on approach shots since it is quite lengthy.

Design is great throughout, but the course got fun for me starting on hole 7 through 18 where shaping shots with distance is the name of the game. Not a course to play after heavy rain, but it’s a good test for anyone’s game (and it makes me wish I threw 100 ft further). Once the city finishes the drainage, I will come back and give it the 5 stars it deserves!

Fantastic course. Layouts for all skill levels. Needs to drain better but I know the locals are working on that now. Bathrooms and a paved parking lot.

Wide variety of shots that challenge the advanced player but newer players can still have fun. 2 layouts of Red and Gold baskets! City still working to get parking lot complete but there will be pavilions and bathrooms in the future. Worth the play!

I am not a long thrower, but I enjoyed the longer version with the par fours. It was dry with no mosquitoes.

Great design for the property. One of the best “open field” courses I’ve played. He did a great job making sure there are plenty of shot shapes. It can be pretty swampy but there isn’t anything that can be done about that. You do end up throwing max distance most shots, if that’s not something you like then this might not be the course for you.

Great mix of open and semi wooded holes. Only downside is that it does not drain well.

Another exceptional course design by Lavone. Upgrades continue that mitigate early drainage issues and significant facility upgrades. Gonna be a highlight course in our area!

Good new course. Might be might favorite in the area. The good is the shit variety, intelligent “golf” par 4s, and pretty area. The bad is the ground holds water. Also, I would suggest adding Mando left on 16 gold to protect the tee pad of 17.
