The course could really use some upkeep, there was quite a bit of dog poop around the lower portion of the course near apartments. Over the last couple of years it has gradually gone downhill a bit. The reason for this may be due to a pretty large flood that happened in this area a few years ago. The signage for most of the putting areas are no longer there. I have done this course quite a few times it is where my husband and I learned how to disc golf, if we did not remember the par for each hole we would be lost. Most of the signs are no longer there for each par. Additionally, the par numbers on UDisc are not correct for what were there originally.

Fairly well kept. Great course to learn on.

I’ve played this course a good two dozen-ish times over the last three or so years, and while there isn’t anything all that spectacular about Sunset Park, it’s still a nice, simple course without too many strings attached. My personal best is a couple 30-strokes I threw last year, but I can semi-consistently shoot 3s and 4s on all nine holes. Course isn’t too hard to learn. Holes are mostly a straight shot from the tee; trees are the only real obstacle, but they’re only relevant on some of the holes. Quite a bit of elevation changes to play around, especially on the middle holes. Most of it’s downhill (lots of uphill walking!), and it’s pretty easy to overshoot a couple holes if you’ve got some power off the tee. Park’s maintained pretty well; signage is mediocre, several are missing, and I think it’s possible to get a little lost on your first game if you’ve don’t know where the tees are. Some are obvious, some aren’t. The listed pars are all over the place, too. I do like this course, solely based on the fact that it’s the one I normally play, but it does have some shortcomings, especially if you’re new to it. Still, the course itself is solid and isn’t particularly demanding.

Quick easy course with some hill walking.
@clawheart84
Great casual play course, not a lot of risks with your throws which makes it a great place to practice new throws and techniques.

@randus
Missing a few Tee Post Signs. New pad getting done on 8 so probably just a matter of time.

Could be better but I like the course a lot

@chronbob
Great park course. Elevation shots were really fun

@wsecord
Great short course with excellent elevation and views. Weekday at 11 am. No one around. Excellent facilities. Will definitely return

Multi use park. Showed up and there was tee ball and softball going on. Can’t blame the course but the alternate tee pads were not marked and I couldn’t throw from many of them because of cars and ppl everywhere. Nice use of land but with elevation and trees to make it hard.

@ebola9
It was a nice course with a variety of shots up down and on the side of hills. Trees were in locations to make it a bit harder. Signage was poor, many missing. Take a photo of the course map to find tees. I tried to map the course using UDisc but unsure if it worked.
@irypkema
The tress and hill give a good challenge yet the grass is nice and short so you don’t lose your disk. Great local park course.

@bengineer
Course is very well kept, nice baskets, just plays very short. I finished a round in 20 minutes.

@brandy75
Short city park course. Nothing flashy but well-maintained.

@uncletorgrim
Awesome park style course with some surprisingly demanding shot shapes, definitely worth playing if you’re passing through.

@hosstryker6
Nice little park style course around a little league field. Needs water

@shade2442
Very short park-style course

@titus337
Beautiful park! It is short for sure but there is enough here to challenge any recreational player.
