All these reviews about the owner…. Check out these users courses played. Coming from a more experienced disc golfer: -Yes the owner can come off very stern and “aggressive” Think about if it was in your private property, with neighbors who don’t appreciate loud noises, people crossing into their yard for discs, and Pony owners (you know) -Disc golfers are responsible for their own actions, at any course. You just get confronted for it here if you aren’t respectful and honest. Sometimes even if you are respectful, you still get confronted. Sure that’s shitty, but the owner doesn’t want shitty people in his backyard. Understandable -Just play disc golf. No glass bottles. Smoking is allowed but don’t burn the place down. There’s dedicated smoking areas here. -Course plays tough on blues, and sometimes blue-green, but the green layout is perfect for amateurs -Course is built on honor & integrity. Owner is out there making the course better daily. Aside from the recent port a potty removal. Sick of seeing all these reviews that are coming from people with no true DG experience. You’re probably not a good person if you have a hard time at this place. Don’t go to someone’s house and confront them when they want to make sure you paid to play and signed a liability waiver. I’m sure not all experienced disc golfers have the same perspective I do, bottom line is as long as you aren’t a punk here, you’ll be alright :) Totally worth a trip. Awesome course. Hole 17 is a blast.

Check in was pleasant for me. Nice course! Dual tees and baskets give many options. Dry throughout

First time here and although I had a hard time finding a few tees this course is incredibly beautiful and unique. I love the addition of different structures to make the shots interesting and technical. Richard is doing a fantastic job and I'm very glad to have finally made it out here!

Owner introduced me to a local at the beginning of my round. Showed me around and had a blast! Thank you!

Sunnymede has a nice variety of shots including some shots into or through barn structures that you won't find elsewhere. There are short and long tees on all holes. There are a few fairways that need more defined lines and are too heavily wooded. This is a longstanding problem at this point. 1 and 18 can be wet. Teepads are solid. Signage is good. Portable toilet has been removed. The owner can be abrupt and rude at times and at other times be fine. It is problematic that a warning about the owner is necessary.

Did not interact with the owner but did catch a glimpse of him skirting around on his golf cart. A lot of OB so I’d like to play another round now that I know that risk you take when taking certain approach shots. Neat features!

Paid, played never met owner. Just didn’t care for the course. Wooded holes didn’t have any lines. Hate paying $ especially when you find out the course was over rated to begin with because it was a backyard private course

Pretty cool course overall! This course makes you throw shots you can’t try anywhere else in MA. The island greens are a great challenge, the technical gaps are well placed, and there are some field shots to air it out on. There is a lot of OB on the course. Hole 17 is a gem! However some of the course is pretty tightly woven. There are some dangers to hitting other players on the course and not understanding what basket to attack. Could be better for sure.

stay away from this place. the owner will let his dog pee on your bag and then laugh at you. or he’ll hunt you down on his atv and try and accuse you of not paying or signing in correctly. that dude is BERT.

Well designed course on a beautiful piece of land. Great use of elevation. Strategy & variety are key design elements & Sunnymede has both. The long layout is challenging but fair & highly rewarding. The mixed & short layouts offer a nice variety. This course is meticulously maintained & it shows. Highly recommend checking it out. One of my favorite courses around

The course itself is very well maintained, tons of layouts to play with 2-3 pads and 2 baskets per hole. Plenty of different shot shapes both in the open and the woods (rollers, turnovers, flicks, distance shots, etc.) Overall a very fun and challenging course. When I visited, I had multiple pleasant interactions with the owner. If you simply follow the rules (pay up front, don’t smoke, etc.) then you will probably have a great experience here. Be respectful!

Every time I come here to play the owner is doing course cleaning or changing holes to make things better for play.
