Not to be underestimated. The lines are tight and the kicks can be punishing. I was expecting a dinker course, but it was quite challenging. Would recommend!
@regross527
Awesome little (mostly) pitch and putt. Only maybe 3 holes where you need something faster than a mid. Super tight lines, a shot shaper's dream
@tombakerradio
Love this course cause it makes you get better! Upkeep looks better and better every time I’m here
@apadula14
Super narrow and technical but very fun! Makes you really think on each drive and forces you to make tough choices when you kick off the fairway! For how close to the city this course is I will certainly be playing this more often now that I’ve tried it
@reichmusic
Solid course- loved it- Shorter but can really dial in hitting lines- Off the fairway usually punishes you a stroke. Visiting from out of town. Happy I came- finish off those two or three non concrete pads -
@zippitydudaman
Amazing short course; someone has clearly put in some work and maintenance on this course. Tons of tight lines and working on your scramble game. Only thing that keeps this from being perfect is some clearer signage and way-finding. Other than that, it’s rad.
@jannimal
Very technical short wooded hole. Most lines you have to work for. Great course requiring a lot control
@phillyp81
Some signs to update but plenty good. Some trees could fall and that would make it a 5
@geigerhyzer
Super tight technical holes. Also stinks like gas/sewage in some areas
@cklim98
A lot better than last year when I played. Some short holes with odd, unattainable lines bumps this down to a 4 star rating for me.
@spineyfish
Wow! New tee pads are great. Fairways are challenging, but not overgrown. If you haven't played this course since before May '23 check it out again. It's a completely different experience.
@kirkegaard
The course keeps getting better
@fishydisc
this course is a bit underrated. ~75% of the course consists of short distance lines with tight, wooded fairways. it can feel tough at times, but there’s always a line even if its small. brush isn’t too bad either in the winter. tee pads are slightly slippery but manageable. overall offers some challenging but rewarding technical practice.
@dalthecow
Sounds like it has gotten some tlc, will revisit when I'm in town
@gnic18
Big potential here. I love tight technical woods disc golf; Northwood Black is my 2nd favorite course of all time and I’ve played some amazing challenging little putter/mid tight wood courses and this could be one. I really appreciate the great effort put in and this course went from a 1/1.5 star up to a 2.5/3 star track so huge hats off to the amazing team behind the upkeep. That being said, too many baskets are luck based and skill is not rewarded. By eliminating luck trees on baskets to make intentional/skill based gaps and clearing some brush/junk/moving tee pads, this could be an absolute gem. Getting a pro or even a local pro with some solid course design knowledge to come in and recommend the trees to remove/things to remove or move to make it fair but still very challenging would be a massive game changer and would make it a 4 star course for sure. I’m excited to see what it could become!
