About the course
Summerfield Park is a 9-hole course with some unofficial 9 hole safari layouts. Hole 1 is directly to the right of the parking lot and then proceeds counterclockwise around the park perimeter.
The main course has turf tee pads and some of the safari holes are grass. The "back 9" safari layout was added by locals in late 2020 and features a little more challenge including three par 4s. The back 9 tees are identified by white bricks in the ground with the hole #’s on them.
Noteworthy:
- Please use caution on hole 10's tee shots as you navigate the large oak tree beside the playground.)
- Lost and found: A disc drop box has been added near basket #5 along the white vinyl fence. Please return all found discs via the drop box. Discs found without contact info should be posted on the Houma Disc Golf Facebook page.

I know this park is in a neighborhood but the proximity of some of the baskets to the neighbors fence lines could have been located a few feet further away.

Holes are 75-150 feet so it’s extremely short. Once all of the artificial turf tee pads are put in it will be much better (5 have been put in so far).
