@brettjm
Bring lots of water on a hot day. There is a lot of walking, scaling hills and scrambling up and down rocks. When we finished it was 27 degrees (feels like 30). It was great fun though!
@dooglasii
First 11 plays really well, then some of the last few holes seem out of place. could use a bit of reworking to a standard 18 by tweaking and removing certain holes. some of the par 4s are an awkward length (long par 3, short par 4).
@edhelinski
Needs signage ..... lots and lots of signage
@shwashua
This course continues to get better every time I play it! The new signage and direction between holes helps a lot as tee boxes are far apart, layout isn't immediately intuitive, and wayfinding would be difficult otherwise. The amazing variety between quarry, field, and treed holes makes this an incredibly unique experience. It would be comparable to some of Udisc's top 100 that I've played with a little more maintenance or usage to work in some paths/thicker bush, improve sightlines, and remove poison ivy and old dumped trash. If it's your first time, be sure to wear good hiking clothes and be prepared for a long round. The long tees are quite challenging without the ability to throw >250ft shots accurately. Medium tees are much more forgiving.
@beeballca
Very beautiful course
@phixedgear
Amazing course!
@nastyboyjeff
Best course in MB. Beautiful terrain. So diverse, it’s got everything. Thanks to those who put in so much work to make it a reality.
@fjgreat
One of Manitoba's best. Amazing gem carved out of the rock quarry and bush. Such a wide variety of shots and tees to play from. Course is only a few seasons old and needs to be played much more to become fully established. Tee pads need to be concrete here. Just screaming for good tee pads. Definately not for everyone as the walk can be very tough. Beautiful and challenging.
@maxgoo0
Challenging course from both the long and medium tees. Great shot variety and hole variety. Expect the round to take around 3 hours. Water comes into play on few holes.
@thedavemac
My favorite course in the Winnipeg area. Perfect mix of crushing drives and wooded technical shots. Plenty of opportunities to feel both glory and shame. With a bit more polish (e.g., staircases where the climbs are a bit damgerous; clearing out poison ivy and dense underbrush around course relevant areas), this course could be an attraction for the global disc golf community.
@cryansmith
Excellent course. Lots of variety in shots needed to score well. Wind can be a major factor in the quarry part, and the wooded holes are not kind to mistakes. Very scenic, and a unique place. Long distance between some holes. Total walking is over 5 km for 20 holes.
@blakeheartsyou
Beautiful course, love the variety of types of golf you go through , starting with the open quarry into a park style as well as some tight woods. It is definitely a hike to play so prepare accordingly. Navigating to the next hole can be tricky but the pointed arrow signs help a lot. Loved every minute of it and will be back for more.
@discrepublic
Amazing course with a wide variety of challenging holes. Would love to eventually see a bit of infrastructure to help with safety in a few places.
@caseyfreidig
Such a beautiful course for being a brand new course, give it time, and it will mature into an excellent course. It is very challenging, especially in wind, mixed variety of Open, elevation, and tightly wooded golf
@aaronrempel
Lots of walking between holes. The course has had some maintenance, which has made it much more playable. With some more signage and upkeep this could be a great course.
@coachclark
Getting better every year, this is a tough course with lots of challenging shots at mildly treacherous hikes between holes or to find errant shots. Lots of fun!
@leblondie82
It’s quite a challenge, for sure. Lots of walking. Bring hiking shoes. Such an adventure!
