Excellent “small park” course. My main critique is that there are several baskets that are too close to the next tee. However, I’ve rarely seen more than two folks throwing, so it doesn’t seem to be an issue. You may have to avoid occasional park-goers, but not too bad. Signage could be better, but is quite sufficient. The tee signs seem to be more accurate than the current Udisc distances. Fun course that plays quickly.

This is a very good civic park course. Adjacent to downtown Pierre, nice view of the Missouri river. Not as challenging as Powerhouse, but much more pleasant. If I come back to town and only have time to play one course, this will be it. (Note, June 2024: All 18 holes seem to be open.)

@afelter01
Mulch around tees as it got muddy after rain.

@judkins
For a park course, it’s not too shabby. The holes are all a decent length with nice trees all around for some scenic obstacles. Being next to the water is gorgeous.

@derekt24
It's finally 18 holes again. Nice location and scenery
@billyoxner
5-13 are gone

@bckcntryskr
Easy but I missed more birdies than I had hoped

@joycesauer
Under lots of construction so not really labeled for an 11 hole course. I used existing baskets except for one to make 11 hole course. Once the construction is done and labeled and on Udisk. From basket one work clockwise

@blackbeltpilot
Looks like you are now supposed to play 1-4 then 14-18 for 9 holes. 14 starts on the other side of the street from the parking lot and the tee for 18 is quite a ways from the basket for 17.

@aaron22
Good soup🤌

@djklaws04
Nice course with lots of mature trees and some cool shots. To bad it’s missing a couple holes for construction

@paulied
I like the course a lot. Construction right now so baskets 5-12 are missing. Hard to find a time with no wind being right on the river. Very nice well kept grass in a park with lots of trees creates a challenge, on top of people sometimes in the way.

@bevink
Has potential once they finish construction.
@houseap
Windy, picturesque and longer holes for all par 3. Long grass but wonderful

@robing
Using the app is really helpful. It’s long and spread out on a beautiful lawn. Couple holes like 8 are really thick and unkept but you’re still able to walk through. All along the river

@bjprill
So this is a good course for SD. Lots of trees to encourage shot-shaping and no hole plays the same. I would give it 3 stars if it wasn't for the beautiful riverside view. No elevation.
