What the actual f***?! I am perplexed, ladies and gentlemen. Perplexed! I have continually lamented that there aren’t any excellent courses in picturesque Wayland. I’ve seen Orangeville in the corner of my eye, but never made the time to give it a try. Tonight as the sunset began posturing aggressively, I took my shot. I loved and hated this course. It has SO MUCH POTENTIAL!! Great pads. Great spot. But holes aren’t maintained, signage is inconsistent or incorrect or in the trash can. Baskets need some red spray paint and holes need some serious thinning out. With a little love, this could be a badass, tricky, nuance demanding, tough course. Amid my frustrations, I had a blast. In short, get out here and try it for yourself, you will have a good time. Great Lakes Discs, call St. Francis and give the man a hand at transforming this place into something extra special! And St. Francis, thank you for having this course available.
