@teafeathers
Good 9-hole course! Surprisingly tough because so much off-camber and uphill terrain. Very pretty setting, in and above SOU and the Rogue Valley.
@coacht
First 6 is solid. Then it gets weird. Watch out for deer and deer poop.
@noey21
Feel you have to throw one way. Tees no condusive to my throw. Hole 7 not sure how not to roll
@tedkeith
Short but a workout. Some hills. Dirt paths with a little sand are slippery to walk down hills. Lots of fun shots. Back three unkempt.
@joreymc
If you’re in Ashland and only have an hour or two, it will give you a decent round. Short, not too technical, with a mix of forehand and backhand holes. Most baskets are on slopes with plenty of roll away potential.
@davidrk
it was all going so well until hole 7... Terrible rollaway hillside... not much of a line, unless you spike hyzer it into the hillside and it sticks. Good course, just takes a bit of learning I suppose.
@joelotsa
Play the 1st 6 3 times if you’re a duffer as the last 3 are disc eaters.
@chuck4677
I liked this court a lot. Glad I have something solid close to home in Ashland. The course is fairly easy with a couple small challenges. This is a great course for beginners who can safely keep their disc on the fairway, this course does play along a street and some college walkways but I found it pretty easy to avoid dangerous drives and keeping an eye out for people walking. I’m just a beginner. Baskets 7 & 8 can be a little bit of a challenge. On 7 it is very easy to roll your disc down a steep hill so play something lofty and try to carefully set it down on the hill side. On 8 you gotta send it hard and let fly left once you make it over the trees/creek. Your disc will likely go out of sight so be sure to tell FORE just in case.
@mbroyles
If this was the only course in my area, I’d go out of my way to play somewhere else. Holes 7+8 are two of the worst hole designs I’ve ever seen. Extreme hillside 150+ rollaways. Throwing blind shots straight into massive trees. Risk of hitting cars on the street on most holes. Tough walk, thorn bushes at the bottom of the gully. Not a fun course.
@septimus
Baskets were great. Teepads are loose, uneven dirt or mud. I played the first 6 holes 3 times because I'm not skilled enough to attempt the back 3.
@bill
Needs mowing.
@garywlafreniere
This a a 9 hole in a beautiful campus. Yes there are some things that could occur to make this course better but I wish I had this 25 years ago when I went here vs throwing at objects around campus.
@kamay4
Super fun in town course. Clean, windy, cars everywhere but fun!
@kaynew
good for just a practice run fun tee pads in a ruff condition but short and fun
@capehenlopen
It hurts to harsh what I'm sure is a much loved campus course, but this has a lot of proximity to roads and foot paths. Some of the hole layouts honestly don't feel safe, including 4, which crosses a few foot paths. Tee pads are dirt and pretty beat up. Creek crossing from 7 to 8 is not well maintained and very slippery. Some fun / challenging elevation and hill play.
@kylelconrad
Teepads are a little rough but overall a nice way to get some disc golf in
@iscaspar
A good, quick place to play a round. Nothing special, nothing terrible still fun.
@lukehagler
Great course for beginner and intermediate.
@dougtaco
I love that there is so many different types of terrain on a 9 hole course. Being that some of the holes are on steep hills keeps you on your toes for sure. Keeps you challenging yourself big time. I absolutely love the back 3. So challenging but so rewarding. I hope there are cement tee's installed at some point, would make a huge difference
