It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and was created in 1950 to meet a need in the SBC's East Coast Region.

This is my home course and we play here at least twice a week. I’m thankful it’s there and love the location. Just a word of caution…we’ve had discs stolen off the fairway twice. These were marked discs and were clearly in the open areas and not in the thick brush. This has never happened on any other course we’ve played.

Fun course but a few holes have to be cleaned up. The vines and underbrush will eat your discs up.
