Am I a little biased because I designed and built this course a little bit for sure! But I give this five stars because it’s A Nine hole course and judging other Nine holes this is the cream of the crop you want. It’s challenging with some tight lines, but also has some holes that lets you stretch that arm back! There’s no better place around that has a driving range if you are solo. Great signage, clear paths, OB walls, Drop zones What more could you want? Simon Lizzotte design making you throw that High Hyzer out of 6? Yup he came and said that! No seriously he did, He gave his time in the early stages and helped with some of the missing shots. Lunch round 25 minute solo? Sure! It’s safe and clean, and there’s a playground for your kids to play on while you throw and tons of activities to do on the recreational grounds.

An obvious labor of love. This slab of property could not have been utilized any better. Amazing shot variety and technicality for a shorty 9-hole. Had me frustrated in the best possible way. I saw the owner in the rating comments here; if you see this - thank you! What a joy
@prozach93
Couldn’t really ask for a better 9 hole course. It has all you’d want out of a short layout. Unique lines and technical shots. Some in the open and some in the woods. I think this is a really strong course. I also love how the course designers made the most of the space. No wasted time walking between baskets, tee pads are great. I’ll definitely be a regular at south commons.

Course isn't open or final yet, but a fantastic 9 hole layout. Definitely a step up from your typical 9 hole park course, with some rather technical shots. It also has easier pars for kids, so still beginner friendly. Hole 1 is a fantastic driving range with railroad tie markers and a beautiful woodchip circle around the basket. Teepads are recycled turf and are set up quite nicely. A few holes need some minor cleanup, but overall a very nice course.

Great little 9-hole; these types of courses should be everywhere, congrats to all involved making this happen.
@timchagnon
Outstanding course. Super quick and short but very challenging. You need to hit your lines in the woods for any shot at a birdie. Love hole one. Island hole with built in driving range. Amazing. Well done. (Hopefully locals will play often enough where the idiot with his poorly trained dog stops running all over the place and he’ll stop blowing his whistle constantly. Only including this in case locals know him and tell him “hey bud there’s a disc golf course here. Take your dog to a dog park”)
@racerx187
Bravo! Such a fun little course! Perfect 9 hole pitch and putt! Loved the tractor tires on 3 and the old farm equipment on 4! Great for a family round!
@dlavs19
Really well done 9 hole course - tees, signs, baskets, and benches are all great. Fun course for all golfers, beginner friendly. Shot shaping and distance control on many holes. Hole 6 is a bit confusing with how many baskets are in the vicinity and hole 7 is a bit tight/quirky. Great course overall!
@drewhoyt
Nice short 9hole course! The wooded holes require some relatively precise shot shaping, so has some relative teeth despite the short pin distances.
@midzlife
Such a gem of a course. Short 9 hole loop but they did a good job of making the shots challenging. Good signage and the course is well maintained. Thank you for installing this course!
@jjc2718
Fun little 9-hole course with a combination of open shots and tight woods lines. Short enough to be good for beginners, but technical enough to challenge more experienced players. The course seemed well-maintained, the rough was punishing in places but not much thick underbrush or risk of losing discs. One minor suggestion would be to add the 9th basket to the hole 6 tee sign (and make it clear that you should play to the basket in the woods and not the one in the open) - I was able to figure it out, but could see others getting confused. Signage was very clear other than that!

Great short 9 hole course. Nice mix of open and wooded holes. The designer maximized the usage of a small area. Good shot variety and tight technical wooded holes. Teepads and baskets are brand new. It’s in a public park so plenty of parking and some ports potty’s.
@dstanley5894
Perfect warm up course, quick 9, or for field work on hole 1!
@joswayness
First off, thank you having me, just happy to be here! Secondly I see the potential here! For a 9 hole course in its early stages it’s already a place that you can develop your game! So much room for activities like field work and putting practice! Most of the tee pads are in and they are turf! Just want to say thank you to all the people involved, in making this happen! I’ll definitely be back for more!
