@npjeschke
Well maintained course with variety of shot shapes and a balance of woods and more open holes. Distance and signage could use a refresh but worth the visit.
@aricfoster
Very fun course with lots of different kinds of shots. Teepads and signage need a little work.
@hillsdalecj
Awesome course if you can throw at least 375. Great variety, easy thoughtless way-finding, could Zuca, better in spring or fall as weeds in rough thinned. Biggest pros: variety - open, wooded, short long. Criticisms: short tee pads and only one set. Hole 4’s basket should get pushed back some - hitting guardian trees leaves you with 12-24’ putts so you’re somewhat rewarded for worse misses. BC of the ceiling 10 is plinko / poke and hope unless you have 500’ power and are willing to risk the lake. A little shorter and it might be a top hole on the course. UDisc distances off on a few holes. 9 long basket would be ridiculous. Favorite Holes: 2, 11, 16
@hillhaus
Really enjoyed the shot variety. Unfortunately, the tee pads are awkwardly small and several are not level with the ground, forcing modified x-steps or standstills.
@tdanis84
Overall, this is a pretty and moderately difficult course. I would play it again. My only critique is that the tee pads should be much longer.
@plamondon
Still muddy out on the course in quite a few spots but great course
@kfodrey
Super fun course. Lots of great holes, but a few that just feel like poke and pray holes. Could update those few and improve the course for sure.
@philipbalger
Tee’s are small. The course is Pretty epic with its rolling hills, elevation changes, wide open holes and a mix of technical woodies. I love The Legend. It’s very sad how the small tee creates some hazardous follow thru with slick muddy areas it’s easy to fall. Seems like that could be shored up. Others nearly perfect course.
@aurkarm
Very old school vibe to this course. A great mix of tight woods holes and open long holes. Some shot variety, but you're in trouble if you're a rightie without a good backhand turnover game. Tee pads are small but generally still OK. Signs don't give much info aside from the hole number; grab a paper score card on your way in. Not sure I'd call this a destination course, but if I lived in the area I'd play it for sure.
@thutch4444
If you can't stay in a fairway, then don't recommend as you will be in thick jungle and tall grass.
@ktknack
Very LHBH or RHFH leaning. Course looks great though!
@pgroot
Nice fun course. Always worth the trip.
@jakebrake01
Fun, good elevation (for MI), mix of open, tight and ace runs! Well maintained for a state park tho the rough and undercut is thick due to light traffic
@johnlandis
Beautiful course to play especially in fall. Tee pads cement but small. Maintained well.
@garebearglare
Perfect course for tourneys or casual rounds.
