If you’re wanting a cool Mountain View and a beer after the round, then this is the place. However, if you’re wanting a challenge, then I would look elsewhere. The use of elevation is about the only interesting part of the course, and even if you have 300ft lower you could easily go -9.
@sincerelyme
The best mountain course in So Cal! Only a few really long holes, but great shot variety! Up, down, left, right, this course has a hole for every skill level. Excellent food at the restaurant where you check in. Well worth the $19 day pass.
@haejung
One of my favorite courses. Wear gaiters! Amazing views. Walk slowly and breathe deeply. Fun downhill shots.
@jakeporter
If it was a free course I would give 4 stars, but no signage and only a few benches is unacceptable at a pay to play course.
@steadyjeff
What a treat this place is. For out of town visitors, this is a course you’ll never forget. For those living I. Southern California, this is one of the best places you could possibly go when you need a break from things. I try to have a camping trip here at least once a summer.
@everlong
To comment on someone else’s review, only one of the baskets is damaged by a fallen tree. Otherwise the course is in great condition aside from sun bleached tee signs. As far as I’m aware the facility is closed but the course is still playable. One of the best courses I’ve played!
@llykoz
Might be the best course I've yet played. The scale of it is incredible. If you have 340' flat-ground distance: you should be able to get to the basket on every hole; so it's not a bomber course, but an excellent variety of shot shapes. Absolute must play if you're able. If they upgrade the signage and way-finding - as well as adding more benches and garbages: this could be a short, pro-level course.
@austinstremlau
Best the course has looked in years. Fairways are cleared, trees are manicured, and new cement tee pads going in. Always a great day at Sky High
@cadato4
Absolutely incredible mountain wood course. Beautiful views and excellent shot designs. Among the best courses in California if not the country.
@braddavis
If it was open year-round this would easily be 1st or 2nd best in California.
@carl33p
Beautiful course. Wear hiking shoes. Throw a bit understable due to the elevation. It's a hike.
@abeers81
Fun Right hand Forehand friendly course .
@chacho
Beautiful views. 3 nines that all lead back to the clubhouse. There’s still potential for making it even better but really great course.
@andyrotolo
New tee pads are greatly appreciated. Ownership needs to work on replacing baskets as some are so damaged TDs have to bring their own temps to keep the C tier rating. Pay to play is annoying but overall it’s worth it for the fun layout and amazing views.
@crice1022
Best course in So-Cal!
@ectisch
Brooms on new tee boxes would be better, very slippery!
