A good course for casual play but not for competitive play.

Good job on clean up after devastating hurricane. Hole designs are challenging and fun. Some things to be aware of below: Hurricane cleanup left some holes lined on one side with huge piles of immovable fallen trees. While those piles only so very slightly detract from the overwhelming beauty, they are now a standing risk to discs. Tossing off the fairway into those logs makes finding a disc difficult - our play partner threw into one, and it took us a while to pull out TWO discs (his and another previously lost waiting for discovery). Two holes (6 and 8) boarder a deep ridge on right and piles of trees on left. A few holes toss around water retention ponds. When wet, tossing accidentally there becomes a muddy trek. Not for beginners. But the typical short tees are manageable for those better than novice. Long tees or red basket add difficulty- toss to basket 14 red even if playing short tees; it is worth it (gorgeous hanging basket).

Played the long tees on 1/15/24. Every shot is playable except for hole six. There is a huge pile of debris right in front of the tee pad. Every short tee is wide open. On some of the fairways, they have debris piled up from the hurricane. Make sure to stay in the fairways to keep out of it. It can get gnarly if you get off of it.
@craigwilliams
I need to play here more.
@currdog
It would be nice if people weren’t hanging around the fairways or in blind spots. I understand it’s a mixed use park but there is no signage whatsoever to caution people of flying discs
@shane29
Since the hurricane, it’s been cleaned up and a lot of trees that was there is no longer there. Still a fun challenging course!
@socks23
I'm from Colorado came down to visit my parents . Beautiful course my only suggestion would be have tee signs on the white Tee's ⛓️🥏 . Very nice course 🥏⛓️💙👏💯
@brentpreebler
If you like hitting people with your disc you should play here. People walking up fairways picking up my discs. Really cool course otherwise.
@chriswest17
20 year old discatchers on sloped greens without erosion control make for the potential rollaway on every hole. Plus you have lots of walkers walking the course in reverse. But I’m out here every two years to remind myself why I don’t play here often.
@stickg1
Signage is confusing, signage and Udisc don’t align and neither of them really seem accurate to the actual hole on several tees. Some erosion issues a few areas. Could use a little TLC imo
@struma86
Front 9 is fine but back 9 has too many thorns and too many baskets along retention ponds where it's very easy to lose discs.

I’ll start by saying I’ve been playing for 5 years and am a consistent par player. I have played pretty much every course within 50 miles of Greenville... this is definitively the hardest course in the Upstate. Playing from the ladies tee I think would have been a blast, but everything is long and mostly wooded with tough OBs. Good luck out there!
@jerrybo
Great course, with some good elevation. This is on of my favorites in upstate SC.
