The front line is just dangerous if the park is in use by anyone except disc golfers, which seems highly likely at any point of the week outside of regular working hours. I was there on a cold Wednesday morning in April, and had the place to myself. If there were any people there, it would’ve been unplayable. Shots through playgrounds over picnic tables over roads across almost an accessible fenced in wetland area. Honestly, the front nine should’ve been shortened into a PAR 2 course with all holes under 100 feet and then maybe it would be useful and accessible to beginners. As it is, it’s way too hard for beginners to make these shots under any circumstances and it’s not challenging for experienced players. I imagine it was intended to be a good place to introduce players to disc golf but it’s actually a horrible introduction to disc golf in my opinion. The back nine has much more potential to be a fun par 3 course, but it is extremely overgrown in the rough and there’s garbage and hazards that make it dangerous. The back does have some more interesting shot shapes and some elevation but it needs some goats. I can see maybe playing here on a weekday early when nobody else is in the park, but any other time I would skip it and go somewhere else. One thing I can say is that the GPS data on UDisc is very accurate.

Certainly the most interesting course I’ve ever played. Really feel like it needs to be considered from two different perspective. 1. It’s a fun little course. Not much variety and perfect for a righty forehand dominate player like me. New 9 has some fun lines but can also use some upgrades. Great baskets however, plus two guys in cars stopped to help me find my way. Very cool. The bad is that the front 9 are an accident waiting to happen. You have to throw over major walkways, picnic tables, exercise equipment, skate parks , casual fields and whatever you might find in a park. Had to skip two holes during the week. Can’t imagine the front 9 are playable on the weekend.

Finding the back 9 if you dont know where it is is impossible. You are constantly throwing at normal park goers, or over theyre head (skatepark and basketball court) you can pretty much throw a stock hyzer at every tee pad Rhbh or Lhbh except maybe 2 holes. Other thab that its convenient for a quick round and it pretty scenary in down town dawsonville. Plenty of restaraunts near by and, nice big clean bathrooms. I give it a 3 for convenience and possibly a 4 ifnitnhad better signage. Maybe a course map at the start.

New back nine is worth checking out. Better than the front nine (note I played on a Sunday afternoon so park on front nine was crowded)

Another dangerous course in the area. The sort of people who will play here are also the people who lack the etiquette and common sense not to throw when you could hit someone. And, with multiple holes that play over or directly through park equipment, there's no lack of opportunity to hurt someone badly.

Beautifully kept new city park. Holes play short but with narrow fairways on some holes due to out of bounds asphalt. Last hole is a super fun open downhill bomb into a basket surrounded by pine forest.

Great use of the small space. Worth the play if you’re in the area. 2s basket is about 60 feet from the tee due to construction. There’s also a random basket on 18s fairway and I couldn’t find the long basket on 7. Still a great course

The back 9 addition to the course really made the course for me. It was a ton of fun and I will play this more often. My only wish was to move hole 3 away from the road and the walking path, we had to wait about 15 mins to throw because of the amount of people walking by and vehicles driving.

For everyone’s info. 2 now tees off from flags on top of hole 1…top of hill down across pavement towards tee pad for 2. 7 long is not currently in play. And 8 now has a long option if u so choose it.

Very enjoyable little 9 hole with multiple T pads on a few. The park is fantastically well maintained and a great park to bring the family too with great playgrounds and walking paths for bike riding and such. The layout provides a couple of holes you can really let loose on. The rest are short mid range and putter shots. Great course to work on your short game. Only takes 45 to an hour to play. We played the walking paths as OB creeks for added challenge.

This course just continues to improve! You’ll see new benches on 5 of the Tee pads as well as the Mando signage on hole 5 and 9 are in their new placements which should be a little bit more challenging than July’s position!
