The shorter distances led me to expect a much more beginner-friendly course than what we found. Intermediate players should have fewer problems hitting lines, but half the course plays alongside an overgrown thicket, and after about the fifth time we had to dive through the heavy underbrush for an errant kids' shot, we were covered in thorns, brambles, and nettles (and generally over it by that point.) Disappointingly, if you're experienced enough that the heavy rough doesn't factor in, the remaining shot variety probably won't be enough of a draw to keep you coming back anyways.
