Giving this 5 stars because it needs the boost on the overall rating. I’m a 943 rated player with a righty forehand and backhand and only threw 4 forehands off the tee for the entire round. Shot -7. Not sure why everyone reviews this course as a lefty friendly/forehand dominate course… Course was extremely fun and I didn’t really see any holes I didn’t agree with. It’s woods golf. Only negatives I have are, if you don’t have UDisc, good luck finding the layout and the tees were a little janky but I’m not complaining really over the tees. Stumps were there to trip over when the marked a lot of them and holes with pink flags. I only tripped over a small one once so not saying you can’t get obligated by one not visible. It’s a nice new course we get to play and I appreciate the effort to bring something new to the community!

Honest review: This is a good wooded course with fun short shaping available. The scenery in the woods is beautiful. There is a ton of potential to be a gem in the Upstate. The tee pads are a little short, there are some downed trees to be removed, and I could see it would be difficult to navigate without UDisc. All things consider, being a new course, I truly enjoyed myself and will definitely be back. Sasha and Vern have put in a huge amount of work and this will grow into a wonderful spot for disc golfers.

Course was just installed (I would know) so there’s still some signage and a little cleanup to be done, after that the place will be really great!
@omgimcalen
Beautiful property with fun short-mid length shots. Definitely lacking proper signage, and maintenence however. Wood piles in the fairways and on the greens as well as brush and rough within 10 feet of some baskets. The holes are decent but I ended up throwing the same shot on most of them. Teepads are not level, bolts keeping them in place are not flush and pose a hazard, and they're too short and some without a flat run up to the tee. Not to mention a lack of parking
@cyleshook
Tee pads are short and not much distance behind them or in front on some.. debris and overgrown areas in fairway made it a little frustrating. Decent poke and hope course. Needs a second clearing session to be good. Nice woods and rocks and creek to make scenery nice. Needs better signage for people without UDisc.
@joemaxey2
I love wooded courses and this was one of the sweetest ones I've played in a good while. Tight and tough but Bru fair. Forehand and backhand shots available. #17 was beautiful!!! My wife and I will play every time we come to visit family here. Thx!
@bcox7x77
The course is too gimmicky. Greens are some of the worse I've seen. Tee are too short. Few trees dropped here and there and it would be decent.
@ncmack111
Fun little course. What it lacks in distance, it makes up for with technicality. A lot of complaints about no lines on holes, but that is not the case.... It's just that the lines are specific. This is a great course for learning how to throw in the woods. My only real complaint is the tree pads. They are way too short. I have a short run up, and I was having issues getting a balanced and comfortable run up. Definitely Lefty backhand/forehand dominant course. Shot variety is a little lacking. On par with woodruff, county line, the moo etc, but more of a complete course than those (in terms of distance and skill needed to play).
@discgolfcraig
Great kid-length course. With more upkeep , will get a half point boost. Second best mid-length course in the Upstate behind Timmons.

Update on 8/3/25 - after getting a bit beat in and a bit more clearing, the course is better than my previous comment. It's a fun wooded course. I still think hole 1 needs better lines. New course and still being broken in. That being said, there are some holes with no real lines at all. Hole 1 has a walking path but that's it. Hole 18 has almost no lines at all. More clearing needed. Course is forehand dominant. Carpet tee pads. Some fun shots and interesting holes make the most of what's available. With more clearing and better defined lines this course could be a real gem.
@bearleethrowin
Fun course, tough right lines, little bit of stumps in fairway tripping me up lol.
@garbonso82
This is a really fun course. Still being broken and I’m assuming (hoping) there are still a few trees to come down on a handful of holes. Overall a really fun course though. Shout out to hole 9. The tee area and hole design and location overall was the standout hole for me.
@appasdad
Awesome course! Had a blast! Fun shots off the tee on almost every hole!
@benhowarddg
Had a ton of fun out here, great course for casual play
@awright1969
Course has potential. It needs to be broken in, & pathways between holes cleared. Not a lot of variety when it comes to shot selection.
@willp167
Very raw, need to cut a few more trees
@danhutz147
Wild course, interesting shots and angles
@keithstepp
Enjoyed my first experience. Fun shots within some very tough lines. Course will shape up nice with play and fairway cleanup. Great job to all involved in getting setup.
@kevin4discgolf
needs broken in, i would of like to see the front 9 use more paths & trails like the back 9 did, can the Ambassador make a smart layout for ONLY the back nine please
