About the course
Seven Mile Beach was installed in 2024 as a 9 hole 'trial' course by the Clarence City Council. It is the first public disc golf course on the eastern shore of Hobart, and is only a couple of minutes drive from the Hobart International Airport.
The course was designed to appeal to beginner to intermediate level players, with room for possible expansion to a more advanced level course in future.
Course Designers: Ollie Mundy-Castle and Drew Halpin.

Great course overall. Nice clean fairways and greens and great tees. Good introductory course for players. From a design standpoint Hole 6 and Hole 7 (long tee) need some trees out to create fair lines and landing zones.

Nice beginner, friendly course. Lots of trees, but pretty open, so it’s manageable. The layout for the beginner just skipped some holes, but that was a little confusing otherwise, the way finding is great.
