I got out of my car got my bag and was absolutely swarmed. I’m talking the worst mosquito event that ever happened to me in 34 years. No dang way you can play this right now. I have blood all up and down my legs. First time ever giving a course 1/2 star rating.
@hiimcolebear
Best course in the area, probably 2-3 years away but could be a pro tour destination with the nearby resort. 3 holes were unplayably flooded, might need a big investment in another drainage pond because this happened last year too. The rough could use some volunteer work to clear. Could be a top 100 course in the country in 5-10 years.
@cmonteith
Fun course, would bump to four stars once they install tee pads for the gold layout. Good shot variety between wooded and open.
@samfong09
Fun course. Mostly technical but with a good number of open shots as well. Love the variety. Signage is awful. Most of the distances are wrong. No signs to the next basket.
@mcjumpputt
I drove down from North Carolina to play. Was fortunate enough to play with the course designer. If you see him out there thank him for all his hard work. This course has so much potential. Gold are very technical and challenging. Blues are super fun. Didn't get to play reds but I'm sure they're great. All skill levels welcome. This course is only going to get better with time. You can tell the local crews have put their hearts into designing it. The bridge alone is an awesome touch. The new tee pads are amazing. Love how long they are. Obviously the fairways are not beat down like a course that has been played for 20 years. You would never know this course is less than a year old. Savannah needed a champion level course and this is it. 10 out of 10, would recommend!
@amlitchfield
This course is amazing, definitely check it out if you are in the Savannah area Flies are still there, keep moving and wear something over your head, neck, and ears.
@luckywalt22
Course design was stellar but there were almost no signifying gold tees to play from. Most of the holes we had to use a range finder and assume where the tee should be. U-disc was our saving grace to be in the ball park(tee signs didn't match U-disc) and know the OBs. Someone chased us down to verify we paid to play, which we did, even when the grass was 2ft tall in most fairways making the ground play not fun and increase of bugs. Tees for golds and cut fairways would have made our first experience a stellar one but not much to talk about at this point. $7 per person with no upkeep is too much.
@smcfall215
Great course! Very mine excited to see it finished!
@cvadinig
Course is in early stages. Give it another year and this will be a destination course...great work SDGC
@ggd49404
Solid course. Beware of gators.
@jmac72187
Tee pads are a joke for a pay to play course which was rather disappointing. Some beautiful open fairways and technical wooded shots. Course has a lot of potential and with some work can definitely be a top level course.
@pneugebauer
Blue Tee pads are awesome! I really like the blue pad being on the hill on 9. Flies are about gone!!!
@teebirdlaw
It's a great course with a beautiful view of the bridge from hole 18. The course designers did a great job incorporaring variety and challenge throughout the course. It's worth a play if you're in the area.
@amhorne
The course has great potential. Overall, I really enjoyed playing it. Once it gets some better teeing areas, it will be one of the best in the area. I will say that some of the pars are forgiving, and some of the shot shapes could be tweaked for more score separation.
@debscott
Lots of potential, great design, well developed layout. Pleasure to play. A must play. Lots of love has been put into this course. Tee pads coming soon

I decided to not sing the course much for lack of tee pads because I know it will come at some point, and it’s new. This course will 100% be a 5 star course once it continues to get cleaned up and gets tees. Great design and overall fun, challenging course. I can only imagine how hard golds are.
@stitcher
When it's finished will definitely be a top rated course. Plenty of shot variety. Great clean fairways. Super fun. Will definitely be back.
@patoink
It's going to be a nice course when it's finished.
