About the course

A well designed desert course, with challenging elevation switches, island holes, a variety of shot shapes and terrain, and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. -Black Hole Portal Baskets -Paver Teepads -Teesigns with distances -Arrows pointing to next tee -Easy to follow, rock lined pathways between holes. Current layout plays with alternating basket colors. 1st Hole is Red, 2nd White, 3rd Black, 4th Red, etc... but the course is easy to follow. The holes occasionally run alongside mountain bike trails, where bikers have the right of way over disc golfers. Bring lots of water and sturdy shoes 💧 And keep an eye out for snakes and other critters during the warmer months. 🐍

Fantastic course! I'm not sure what amenities you're expecting in the middle of the desert, just bring water and you'll be fine. Amazing views throughout the course, fun shot variety with some thoughtfully placed Mando's. This a MUST PLAY course in Arizona!

The most care I've ever seen go into a course, the rock art is amazing and the paths are very nice, you'll never have trouble knowing where the next tee is. That said I would not play this course again. I read other reviews and was shocked they mentioned the wind as a fault of this course, then I played it, on a day listed as 5mph winds but here that is not the case, at times my dg bag flapped in the wind like a cape, 10 ft putts would blow back. However the real kicker on why I wouldn't play this course is the rocks, a heavily wooded course can kill your discs but if you avoid the trees you're fine, but you can't avoid the ground. It's covered in rocks, I used a disc I got this week that is now my most beat up disc to the point I'm not sure it will fly right. I stopped using all but 2 discs pretty quick as the ground just destroyed them after a single throw. IF YOU PLAY THIS COURSE BRING YOUR MOST BEAT UP DISCS THAT YOU DONT PLAN ON USING AGAIN. ending back on the positive, I wish all discs golf courses had the care and attention this course is given
