Little bit of love on the front holes and tee pads this course could be one of the best
@tyguynow
I just have to say right off the bat BE PREPARED TO GO UP AND DOWN THE EQUIVALENT OF 18 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. This course has some fantastic ideas that just are not executed very well. Holes 1 and 8-13 and 15-18 are playable and fun and I would play them again. They make great use of the park land and it feels like a classic park course with some long holes. Some of these hole do play over the parking lot so be careful of cars. 2-7 are amazing concepts and beautiful in a high dessert sort of way but I would skip them unless you are a mountain goat and like looking for your discs. There is a lot of elevation change and steep/slippery slopes. Hole 14 is a real awesome idea and would be better if there were some trees cleared or trimmed back in order to make a path to the basket. I’m not saying the holes themselves are bad for 2-7 just that it needs a lot of work with sage bush clearing and stairs to eliminate the dangerous slopes. Also the addition of permanent tee boxes would really help this course.
@dashaggyone
Some very challenging terrain and scrambling required.
@whothis23
It was actually a pretty cool course to throw. Definitely needs permanent tee pads. 2-5 had a bunch of elevation changes, and if you misthrew it, it was an adventure to get your disc back. Definitely needed to spot each other's throws for a couple because of the brush. On hole three, it was like throwing down off the hill into a ravine, way over threw it. 6-7 were down along the road tucked into the brush. The rest 8 through 18 were all in the park or parking lot. It wasn't busy today but I could see where it would be hard to throw with more cars around. Overall it was a good use of the park.
@dgevan
Fun course at the bottom of a ravine. Not busy but also no cell reception, and many tee boxes are dirt. Variety of shots, elevation, and distances. Not cart-friendly on the first third. BE WARNED, OUR GROUP WAS NEARLY HIT BY A STRAY BULLET. Luckily, nobody was hit. Didn’t hear the gunshot but certain of the impact that was only feet away from our group. Given the location down inside a huge ravine, can’t see how it wouldn’t have been deliberate. We left immediately and called local authorities. Would love to play again, but not worth the danger. Too secluded during the winter, and a bunch of the fun holes aren’t open during the summer.
@allstar33
Pretty neat layout for the winter months. I would definitely prefer the brushy holes have their fairway cleared at least at the landing zones. But I think it's a great taste of Idaho disc golf (coming from an out of towner).
@buttboi
Tee boxes can be short and uneven but other than that great course, fun to play
@sethjustdisc2
Decently challenging course, no signage, teepads or cell service. 18 pins between months of Oct-April and 6 pins thru thru May-Sept
@ihatvani
This is the best course around, too bad it’s not fully open during summer
@sirlancenot
Fun course! Some great elevation changes on the first 8 holes, and a good mix of long and short holes. You will have to watch out for parked cars and people though.
@whiteflye
Overall I like the course, especially the Holes in the park. Holes 2-7 being in the sagebrush are not my favorite but that's personal preference.
@laura2323
No internet available so udisc didn't work to map FYI
@brosophocles
A fun and creative course. No pads on a lot of holes. Poor cell reception. Bring good off-trail shoes.
@wailuku43
If you're not really accurate on drives, you'll probably spend a good amount of time trying to find your disc in the first 7 holes in the foothills. Losing your disc takes a lot of energy out of ya, especially on the hills. However, I still enjoyed the change of scenery between the hills and within the park.
@wolffeee
Difficult to find tee offs, some are uprooted since they are only wooden stakes. Hard to know which basket you're shooting for without a map. First 6 are pretty technical up in the hills but overall awesome course.
@slimshayd
Hard course. Lots of discs missing lol.

Really fun course. My only advice is on hole 2, when you get to the Pro tee box, continue up the hill to your left to the Amateur one. Aside from that, it’s pretty easy to follow on the app. The parking lots didn’t matter too much to me. I think it’s well-designed given the space at Lucky Peak. Will be back for sure.
