About the course

SJC Disc Golf Course is built along the trail system that circles the outside of San Juan College. Course was installed by summer programs from the New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps. This track is rich with juniper and cedar trees which are the result of over par scores. Baskets are placed in open spaces with guardians on most. Pure lines or big hyzers will get you a good score. Placing disc in right spots can start your birdie fest. Impact on ground from baskets will lead you to next tee. holes 1-9 start on south end of health & human performance center. 10-27 can be accessed by parking lot behind grounds department off of Sunrise Road between SJC and Pinon Hills Golf Course. Or park in soccer field parking lot then walk or throw to hole 16 for warm up & start on 17. Walking from hole 9 to 10 cuts across before student housing construction.

Fun af, super beautiful, and for being a bit open, still so many unique fun shots. Incredible greens. Great course with good long distance shots!

Middle and back 9 are super confusing even with the app. Ended up finishing early at hole 23 because this place is so confusing and frustrating. Dont play here unless you are with a local that knows the course. 15 basket is missing, ended up playing to 17 basket thinkin it was 15. Hole 16 doesnt have a basket, and has 3 different distances ... for no basket. Hole 17 says triple mando but there is no mando at all, just drop zone. Hole 19b or hole 20 doesnt make any sense, 3 different distances again, why have a 19b, just call it hole 20. Hole 23 has 3 baskets in sight but none are the correct one, ended up playing to 14 basket, then to 27 basket. Go to lions wilderness. Cant believe i drove 2 hours to play this mess of a course.
