About the course

On the prairie just east of East Gemini Lake, you can access the first hole from a trail near the four way stop or by the road to the athletic fields. The course starts on the top on the sledding hill by the large rock. This is a natural course with most of the land left in natural habitat. The Abbey is allowing use of this parcel of land for the Abbey Run Disc Golf course as long as the course users are respectful and the course remains free of litter.

Beautiful wildlife preservation course! It has high potential and offers great challenge. Unfortunately it is a "mowed-pathway-course", so fairways are short/highly technical with lots of tree-branch obstruction. OB is extremely thick so use bright colors only. Elevation is a bonus but plays a large challenge since basket view is heavily creative, leaving them out of sight on most holes. Baskets also have very little visibility and there is no trash bins, so pack-in pack-out. Tee pads don't exist so look for granite blocks in the ground and watch your footing. BRING A SPOTTER!! Heavily suggest course use mainly during fall season into the winter or late winter into spring. LOTS OF BUGS
