This course is classic. The window of my freshman dorm room looked out at the teebox and down the fairway of this course’s hole 1. It was here in 2002 that I was introduced to disc golf. Today in 2024 I brought friends to play the course including someone who’s been playing for a few years without an ace, and he aced hole 1 on his first throw of the day. Just can’t beat that.
@geodude7
Could use some new baskets and actual tees pads. But not bad for working with what they had
@goosetav
A fun course with holes of a decent variety in roughly 120’ to 280’ in length. All tee pads dirt or grass and wayfinding does require use of UDisc. The rusty chained disc catchers are in need of replacement.

Campus is pretty and I had fun playing the course. It’s harder than you might think, with the challenge being figuring out the line to take. I did spend a fair amount of time trying to locate baskets. Adding flags to them would be helpful. A couple of the tee areas aren’t great - with trees next to where you’d be taking your swing. Some course maintenance on those kinds of things would be nice. For parking, I was there early in the day on a holiday weekend after school was out for the summer. I parked near the first hole, but there were signs threatening towing. Not sure where you would park during the school year or when parking is enforced.

Beginner Course. No tee pads. Limited shot variety. Tee signs are nice.
@berglinq
Fun, charming, short, but its age is showing…baskets could use some love.
@brandonwhitaker
Fun Course for the Jersey Jam, would be nicer if they had some real tee pads
@dkelly18
Short but technical course. Good course to practice a variety of shots.
@hyzerline
An upshot wonderland. This course is one of oldest on the east coast and it dates back to before I was born. Take it for what it is with old baskets and shots shaped for pre-beveled edge discs. It’s quick, it’s fun, and most of all it’s historic. Enjoy your rounds!!!
@calebh27
Fun little course with lots of birdie opportunities. Good to work on approach game.
@eugeneem
Good beginner course I guess. Campus events closed parking lot and multiple holes. Good course for students during the week.
@dilloncook
Baskets are what makes the course. Original baskets with added inner chains. You gotta putt well here. Don’t get Rutger’d. There used to be a lot more trees. Now it’s open par 3s. At high skill level It’s Birdie or die for sure. If you’re new, it’s perfect for learning putter shots. If you know the long layout is legit. If you know the jam layout the difficult is blue level. Muddy after it’s rains. Easy to find discs. Watch out for students during school. This is disc golf history.
@uconnfan9
Fun little course that gets better after you play a few times and get used to the tight layout and basket locations.
@zach1209
Good par 3 course for the area. Has long and short tees, but can be muddy after rain. There are sometimes mini flags to mark the tee pads. Baskets could use some upkeep, but other than that it's a decent course.
@zmgross
Fun little course. Baskets are unforgiving
