Amazing, hidden gem, of western NC. This course has awesome potential, still under construction, but so much hard work has taken place to get it to its current condition. Every hole is thoughtfully laid out, challenging, and beautiful.

The land is more beautiful and varied than Ashe County Park! The course is still under construction, but it has potential to be a Top 10 course in North Carolina! (I’ve reviewed 440+ NC courses since 1998.)

Running Cedar disc golf course is on one of the most magical properties in all of Appalachia. Beautiful scenery and innumerable variety of shots. Tightly wooded and consistently challenging fairways give way to some stunning greens. A hidden gem Wilkes County can be proud to include in the ever expanding portfolio of world class courses.

Amazing course that plays through a magical forest in the mountains. Fairly challenging with short and long wooded fairways, with a wide variety of shapes going up and down elevation. Worth checking out!!

It’s very good. Moderately challenging from longs. Front nine is tougher than the back. Lots of elevation changes over 40’. Almost entirely wooded.

Work in progress. Available for play on Wednesday for weekly doubles league. Sunday work days almost every week to finish tee pads and other loose ends. Great course in the making.
