@benpalm
This is going to be an amazing course! Lots of different shot shapes, a wide variety of styles of holes, and lots of exciting greens! Once tee pads and signage comes in, this will be a favorite in the area!
@erush1
Far too many holes are blind from the tee. Course desperately needs tee pads installed. Most of the tee shots are thrown from deep sand making a run up very difficult
@keenan
Needs better teepads and more informative tee signs but the course is well maintained and free. The views are worth it
@jimnielsen1
Spectacular! The views were from 7&8! Playing in the shady oaks is cool. Tee pads would make this a 5 👍🏻
@sidetrack43
I am excited that this course is here. That being said, if permanent tee pads come that would be awesome. I feel like holes 2-5 and 19 need serious work. They are all a little pull and pray. The ground is also not conducive to rollers, which would fair well on those holes of the ground was better maintained. The view from 8 is epic though I must say.
@rasrise
Ok for a trial course. Definitely needs some reroutes and a better flow. Hole 6 is just basically a tunnel of poison oak. The walk from basket to some tee pads is ridiculous. Great concept but definitely needs to be reworked to become a permanent course.
@skevern
Nice park course, but quite a hike with elevation for what it is. Took 1 hour and 45 min for a solo round. I’d take out a couple of the back open holes.
@bigwhoop
Absolutely heartbreaking. This gorgeous property could easily support one of the best courses in California, but that potential has been utterly squandered by a compete lack of vision and a rudimentary sense of design. Poor flow and wasted opportunities abound. An absolute tragedy. My only hope is that the responsible party seeks out an actual course designer before pads are poured and this dumpster fire burns permanently. I will gladly throw my hat in the ring!
@vick2021
Very well maintained, challenging course. Starts off with low ceiling tunnel shots and ends with wide open long fairways. It also includes steep holes (incline & decline) with a really cool top of the world 500ft hole! Hope this course becomes permanent. Although the cellular reception isn’t great, it’s the only course with many bathrooms!
@veecktor
Great course. Will be amazing once the tee pads are permanent. A fair amount of walking between holes. Cell service is hit or miss, which can drain your phone battery and make it hard to navigate the course.
@lonhart
Cement team pads would be helpful. Spacing between holes is long at times. Could add more holes. Great topography, trees, slope.
@nickflick666
Do a fundraiser , or a person can pay for a t box and add there name to it if they pay to have concrete pads. They did that at Kelly Park with success. It was like $ 500 per pad with plaque put in slab.
@cz65152
Fun, but lack of tee pads make some shots tough. Some lines need a little trimming back to make the holes more viable, but would recommend overall. Tee pads would take this to 4.5 stars
@christian814
Beautiful park. It’ll be a cool coarse when it’s permanent. Please pickup your trash. Pack it in pack it out
@owenforest
So looking forward to actual tees being out in and some signage since the phone service isn’t great for wayfinding with uDisc.
@csasoc
This is our first time through this beautiful area. We had a great day in the rain at the course. There was nobody else at the park so we did not have to worry about folks at the picnic tables, however our group thought we might give disc golf a bad reputation at the park and threaten the ability for the course to become permanent if we played the holes by the picnic tables during a busy spring or summer weekend. We really enjoyed those holes, but the risk/reward may not be worth it. We really, really enjoyed the course and cannot wait to help install some tee pads and make some epic future memories at this course! Is there a way to add a few holes after hole 17 to perhaps make up for the ones near the picnic tables?
@jomebrew
Love the design of the course. Layout is technical and challenging but immensely fun.
@feliciano
Just until the permanent Tee's go in then it will be much more of a full 5 course.
@ogan82
These are just my notes as an experienced player trying this trial course for the first time. Take em or leave course designers. :) Some tees and pins should be moved as they are currently unnecessarily obstructed. I’d consider removing all the holes in the open grassy field as it seems like that is an area most likely to have other park users around. There were aggressive dogs near 17 and 19/20. Fenced in but still very distracting. I think this course could benefit both design and future use wise from sliding to a more intermediate-advanced level rather than the advanced-expert level it is currently. There are already multiple championship level courses in the area. I think something slightly more accessible to newer players would be very popular and this property would suit it very well. If there is any way to cut down on the long walks between holes that would be great too. The first half of the course was great but will need some major PO remediation.
