The new layout is very fun! The new wooded holes add a fun challenge to the course. The views on the course are beautiful and the berries to snack on are an added bonus!
@molsonh
I really enjoyed my round at Rose Valley. Long holes and a bit of a workout but nice layouts and variety.
@jeffreyr
The course is a potential diamond. Why is there trash everywhere though?
@macdaddy61
One of my favourite courses on our island! Serene and picturesque, with a good mix of challenging and fun open and wooded holes. I recommend following the layouts on Udisc. Blue MPO/FPO, Red Rose (Amateur), and Rosebud (9 hole layout). New signage as of July, 2024 make it very easy to navigate. Great course conditions as of July 27, 2024! 👍But, keep it in the fairway! 😉
@brokenwing0016
Awesome course. Not for the feint of heart. Those hills are no joke. Outside of losing 2 discs and getting bit by a snake, it was really fun. If you play red and blue at the same time with 2 off each tee, make sure to pay attention around hole 8 to 12. Theres a few blue/gold only holes.
@joemontano
Fairways were being mowed as I was playing, made for an absolutely stunning course. Bugs were not too bad, some bug spray once you get in the woods wouldn’t hurt though. Can’t give this course enough praises!
@mcgee94
Fairway grass was pretty long and meant that at times I had to search quite a while for a good shot. That took away from the experience a bit, but course design was awesome and the scenery is amazing!
@jbissell930
Easily the most beautiful course on PEI
@jamesmallard
The course continues to improve every year. With its mature fairways, scenic views, and newly established layouts it’s undoubtedly a top course on PEI (and beyond)!
@dryank
Only come here if you want to lose half your bag. Without spotters it's a disc pit. Areas off the fairway are complete jungle both in the woods and out in the fields. I lost four discs and gave up at hole fourteen out of frustration. $10 fee plus about a $120 in lost discs is not worth it. Will never come again.
@davidbedard
+ Open holes in field offer a great view + Great hole designs ++Probably the best teepads Ive had the pleasure to throw from. - Kind of hard to find your way even with the app( This might not be valid anymore since the owner told me there was new signages coming in, great for players that never played the course) - Trash bins should be installed at a few places. People are pigs and there is trash at almost each tee. (Shame on these guys, KEEP YOUR TRASH IN YOUR BAG!!)
@wyliecain
Really great course, fun variety with open spots and good woods holes. Signage is good but basic, no hole maps, but easy to navigate from one hole to the next.
@franny7373
Pros: lots a variety, good upkeep, lots of fun lines Cons: grass pads (no big deal!)
@alexmitchell
Sweet new layouts at Rose Valley! Blue Rose wood and Red Rose wood layouts are fun and challenging. These holes offer a wide variety of shots to choose from, giving any players skill set a run for their money. Great work to the team at RV!
@calebread2
a new course with incredible views and a good mix of wooded technical and longer open holes. The variety of shots and challenging layout of this course will make it a championship course in the near future.
@andoo1
Signage miss leading at best. Extra tees and baskets everywhere make it very confusing. Use Udisc to fi d tees. A LOT of work is needed here. Save your money and go to the other higher quality courses around.
@robthepope86
Tough hike. Cart doable, not “friendly”.
@shabsuza
The new layout is great. I definitely appreciate the effort that's being put into developing this course. The course as always demands respect.
@ryancheverie
Great mix of long throws and touchy approaches. New layout plays well, scorable but still punishes your mistakes. Great spot to practice a wide variety of throws and improve as a player! The views are stunning as well!
@logananderson
I’d also love to see the fairways cleaned up a bit and all of the dead branches cleared. Amazing and challenging course overall.
