History

Hello everyone, I have been playing ultimate for over 20 years. I discovered disc golf with my wife, who also plays ultimate. In 2016, we left Paris and moved to Nevers. Naturally, we set up our mobile basket in Rosa Bonheur Park, located on the banks of the Loire River. We continue to play ultimate with the local club, Les Frisb'it. In 2019, we began the project to create the Nevers disc golf course. I designed the layout and consulted with various stakeholders (parks department, sports department, installer, federation, etc.). Of course, U-disc was a valuable ally in the design process. It enabled us to create visuals for communication with the various parties involved. On 12 November 2022, we inaugurated the permanent disc golf course in Nevers in the same park. We are 100% self-taught when it comes to disc golf, and we play with family and friends on weekends. Limited mobility/cane accessible

All holes are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Tees 5 and 8 are less easy to access because you have to climb a small mound 2 to 3 meters away. // L'ensemble des trous sont accessibles aux personnes a mobilité réduite. Les départs 5 et 8 sont moins faciles d'accès car il faut monter une petite bute sur 2 a 3 mètres de distance.
