About the course

This course is a full 18 basket course packed with elevation, tight technical woods through some of the most unique old growth 200+ year old trees you'll see on a course, a variety of different shot shapes and hole lengths, and endless scenery to stop and take in. Take your time and enjoy it! Be animal aware as well, it's not uncommon to see moose, deer and bears on the course. Tee time bookings and yearly memberships are to be purchased through the Riverbend Trading Post website via the "Book Now" button on the bottom right. Tee times must be booked prior to playing. There is a brand new off-grid campground located on the property, as well as a U-Pick Sunflower Farm & Shop. Please note that as soon as you drive down the hill into the campground you will lose cell service. Usually you can regain some service between holes #8-15. Hole 1 starts in the woods at the Canada flags at the bottom of the hills. Park anywhere nearby, just ensure you aren't blocking the roads. Bring lots of water and prepare for a bit of a hike! Sturdy hiking shoes and bug spray are recommended. Be prepared during tick season, they don't like Deep Woods OFF with deet and long pants are always a good option. The rough is very rough at the moment, so keep an eye on any errant discs. With more rounds being played and more grooming being done, we should be able to lighten up the off-fairway areas - so please be patient! It is a brand new course and will take a bit of time to bring it up to full potential! The owners - Ed & Trish were gracious enough to open up their land to us Disc Golfers, so if you see them let them know how awesome it is that we have this incredible course to play & host tournaments at! Please no littering, pack out what you pack in. The only permanent garbage bin is the large yellow campground one near the course start. No garbage cans on course to keep from attracting bears. Numerous cool lines in the woods and scenic views overlooking the North Sask River. Nice new tee-pads will attract enough play to beat in the course as most of the rough has yet to be explored and is very dense. I would recommend pants until the thistles get sprayed.

This is a great course. Top 5 in Saskatchewan. At an intermediate level the pars are fair and there are many chances to land a birdie if you hit the lines right. Pros will love this course too. Great technical lines, use of elevation and nothing requiring a bomb arm. The one thing I really love about this course is the variety of putting shots. Every hole has a different element to putt from. This course will grow a person’s putting abilities if they keep coming out and playing. The ONLY critique I have is the course needs some garbage cans. 18 holes and I couldn’t find one. Otherwise they have tee pads, tee signs and great navigational signs throughout the course. I would travel to this course again so if in the area definitely stop in and play it.
