@mikeknapp
Great course. Excellent variety of shots and use of runs/lifts to make challenging holes.
@jared012
Could easily be a top 5 course in NY but the rough is worst I’ve ever seen. It would be extremely easy to bush hog the rough. If they did that it would easily be a highly rated course.
@nathan240sxy
good course. the rough on a few holes isn't passable. makes it impossible to find stray shots otherwise if they just ran a brush hog through the really tall stuff twice a year it would absolutely be a 5 star course. if you don't have 370+ the long layout will eat you alive.
@dave1313
Would be a great course if they mowed most of the back 9
@smoney
Beautiful course with some really fun throws. Long distances which make birdies hard to come by. Would love to see a little more variety with wooded holes, but overall loved the course and views. Will totally play again. Really impressive for a free course Had a great stay and breakfast at the Towpath Inn.
@andrewkavanagh
One of the most challenging courses I’ve ever played. Incredible course design with wooded holes and some of the best “top of the mountain” elevation shots I’ve ever had the pleasure of throwing. Amazing.
@radish5
One of the best courses I’ve ever played. Great shot variety and a good challenge. Should be a destination course.
@rtillary
The flaws are outweighed by the course design and scenery, the overall quality is heightened by the creativity and execution of the course. There are some missing signs, some down trees and 17 and 18 are congested w campers. Playing alone was tricky because there are some shots you will want a spotter!
@jcarbone10
Great course - my new favorite. Some holes are very long, so not for short armed players. However, it’s still a great course. The grass is very long off the fairways, so be sure to watch your disc for its whole flight if you want a chance of finding it.
@supersnake543
Some holes were missing signage but baskets were easy enough to see.
@jonjbro
Tough course. Fun to play and beautiful. Favors forehand, technical in woods, lots of blind baskets, some long pars.
@ohthatdodson
Visited the course after the tornado so knew what to expect fun course with exciting shots, playable but lots of trees down at the moment definitely a fun course
@nathanbrouhard
Fun but very difficult. Hardest course I've played. Some par 3 are too long for intermediate players.
@dubdarv
Definitely need high level distance for the chance at birdie on most holes. Was playing most holes for par. It was a really cool course. Lot of elevation change. Most of the course was well maintained until about the last 5 holes. Spent a lot of time looking for discs even when I thought I knew exactly where it was.
@blocker0122
Would love to see the grass cut more. Me and my buddy are covered in welps from the tall grass. Never had this happen before. Other than that, great course as usual.
@nsatkow
Gorgeous course with some tight woods, bomber holes and great elevation changes.
@shirtlessdj
What a course, incredible mix of open and super technical shots. Hike is incredible, sights are incredible. Highly recommend if anywhere near the area.
@revwalsh
Changed reviews due to the changes made in May 2024. This was fun and challenging for me- a slightly more than aficionado or enthusiast for the sport. It now is challenging- but the changes to 13, 15 and 16 are probably great for pro players- but made pars feel unattainable. It is still a great and challenging course- but I’m less inclined to make the 45 minute trip to play than I was preciously. Feels like changes were made to accommodate for pro tournament play- but made every day players in our group more discouraged.
@bobbyswizz
Amazing Elevated Course! Super nice tee pads and baskets! Highly recommended!
