About the course

Richmond Hill Disc Golf Course provides players the opportunity to throw from multiple tees at frequently moved pin positions. This course is designed for advanced/pro players to challenge themselves from the long (Blue) tees while allowing amateur/rec players to grow their game and potential from the short (White) tees. To help with navigation every short tee, other than 18, is marked with a sign on a post that stands out as you make you way around the course. Also, the spokes on the basket are marked with white and blue tape to point you in the right direction of the desired tee pad-White for the short tee and Blue for the long tee. Many have described this course as hilly, challenging, windy at times, well-maintained and overall a great place to play! Come check it out if you haven't already right off of Interstate 80 exit 19 in Geneseo, IL! MACH X'S COMING SPRING '24!!!

What an amazing course! Hidden gem of the area! Great use of elevation! Shot shaping is also great. Small but VERY fun course. Jeff Mallum, who I first ran into when I got here today, is a great person. He does an amazing job with this place and I thank you sir for all your hard work! Absolute MUST PLAY!! I will be back for sure and I’ll bring more of my friends this time. This is a super fun layout. Let’er rip TATER CHIPS!!

It’s pretty much all open with a few little wooded holes. Some holes the fairway is very narrow. One is by a small river that the water wasn’t real clear, a good possibility of loosing a disc on this tight hole. Lots and lots of elevation, be ready to get winded and burn some calories. The holes didn’t seem to flow that well and some back tracked. The rough was extremely thick this time of year and some of the rough was right behind the basket, throw long and you may be searching for a while. Some even had impossible raspberry bushes, a nightmare if you get in those. Oh, and there is Hwy noise, but that is to be expected as it’s an easy course to get to. I’m glad I stopped on my way through, but I won’t be back.
