Good creative use of a mixed space. Some holes may be unplayable depending what else is happening that day. I personally dislike the use of extremely tight mowed areas with tall grass OB on 11-16 (some of them are short enough it doesn’t matter) Especially on a windy day I think there is too much luck involved with these holes. Perhaps using hazard rules would be better. Overall a fun experience.
@tris01
Holes 17 and 18 could use a little maintenance but other than that it's a fun short course
@briandejean
Fun little easy course. Thanks to the camp for letting the public play.
@steezeless
Beautiful course, could use a little maintenance, great variety and different distances
@fanofthe5
Overall, this is enjoyable course with mostly easier holes, but a few tough ones. It’s a little different since you’re going through a camp and occasionally you have to be careful not to hit buildings or cars. There’s really just one or two long holes where you can let loose with a driver. The field holes in the back nine are a good unique challenge. Tea pads are a little small, but the concrete is nice. The people and the camp dogs are very nice.
@wesshank2000
Back 9 OB is very tricky when windy and OB grass is tall and easy to loose a disc.
@danbeingloud
The back 9 is a destroyer for a beginner, but a very achievable challenge and very welcomed. Front 9 was nice and playable for any level it seemed.
@themosc
For a short course just to stretch legs, or work mids or beginners it’s perfect.
@puttingwizard4
The front 9 is easy but the back 9 will literally kill you. Would be nice if the tee pads were bigger.
@fredemac
Nice course. Good mix of long and then short technical shots.
@cerealman
A blend of cool park-style holes, some wide-open and flat holes, and a couple of puzzling designs. Good lengths for beginners, especially on front nine. Several holes play near cabins. For more details, visit www.dgcoursereview.com.
@rock67
Pretty site, but the course itself is forced into a campground which makes for a ridiculous layout. Back 9 has multiple holes in a field with narrow fairways. Uncut grass is OB. Too difficult and the uncut grass may as well be water, because finding a disc in it is next to impossible.
@wackerda9
Hole 8, 10, 18 pretty bad. Open hole layouts are pretty good. I could this place being difficult in the warmer months if the grass is really high.
@jacobwacker
Not a great design. Have to dodge buildings and glass windows in the front 9
@singlecoillover
2025 update: The field holes have been mowed wider. Hole 14 also has been cleared at the corner which makes it much more fair. Great improvements! Definitely feels a lot less gimmicky. I still think the tall grass on hole 11 should be hazard, but at least you can progress a little now. Hole 10 is still absurd, and the trees/brush growing in on 5, 7, and 18 are making them pretty much unbirdiable. Overall, scoring is more balanced than before. 2023: This course is well maintained and clearly laid out, but it’s got some design flaws and challenges. The proximity to parked cars is particularly troublesome. It’s definitely a challenge; especially the field holes with narrow fairways and strict OB. Not recommended for absolute beginners. The front 9 are a lot easier and more approachable. Overall it’s a good course to challenge yourself with. Just don’t be surprised if you feel a little disappointed with yourself the first few rounds.
@jereyeag
The front nine was easy and fast and the back nine added some challenge to make it a nice fun course.
@mangosteen
Back 9 has long holes.
@darsense
Upkeep is ok on back 9. Front 9 plays through lots of cabins and parking lots with cars in.
@zachmin
Very easy first 9. 11-16 are challenging - somewhat gimmicky with multiple landing zones that are blind from the tee or second shot. Not bad overall.
@anthonyscolaro
Fun little course. Quite a few of the fairways need cut wood cleaned up and the lines cleared of bushes.
