Makings of a good course with some more maintenance: it is missing many tee signs and there is lots of trash, but the baskets are in good shape. Somewhat navigable without UDisc as there are some physical next hole markes but I still had to pull it out a couple times. Water crossings were appropriate for intermediate golfers or confident beginners. Not the best in the area but could provide some decent variety, especially for newer players starting to see themselves as intermediate level players.
@krobglenn
Lot of poison ivy and some baskets in very bad shape

@jeffmckune
First 6 play on top of each other and walk paths. Opens up after hole 7. Needs trash pick up / maintenance beyond mowing

@zacharytberg
Trash. Hole 5 cool.

This course has real bones, with good use of woods, limited elevation, and water, and several holes hint at what could be a fun, quality layout. • Hole #2 should be the true opener, a short dogleg-left toward water with an elevated basket and drop-off, and one of the more memorable opening-hole designs you’ll see. • Strong stretches include #7 (water left, woods right, peninsula-style green), #9–10 using the only hill on the course, and #12–14 circling the pond, with #13 being the tightest, most demanding water carry. • Navigation, signage, and upkeep drag the course down, with missing or confusing tee information, unclear layouts, and uneven maintenance in the woods. • #16 is a disastrous, unsafe hole that should not exist, combining a baseball field, blind walking trail shots, sharp turns, and luck-based outcomes, and it single-handedly undermines much of the goodwill built earlier in the round. • Despite some genuinely good holes (#3 and #17 especially), the course would be better served as a trimmed-down layout, or even a strong 9-hole redesign, rather than forcing a full 18 with serious safety flaws.

Its free but to give this course anything higher than 2 stars would be unfair to the other courses I've played in NC. It needs tee signs and better signage in general. Could use tee pads where there are none and love on the ones that exist. Could use some love on the course as a whole. Some basket ares are well maintained while others feel forgotten.

@oscar007
Up keep poor just implode this course make a new one or just don't bother worse course in the area

@averagenebo
Good course if you wanna lose a disc. Lots of mud and missing tee signs. Also trash around the ponds need to be cleaned.
@giscdolf
Hole 17 sucks, and grass needs maintenance but other than that good course

@racertempo
Decent layout. Lots of poison ivy is the biggest understatement ever. I’ve never seen this much, it’s holes 2-6, and it’s borderline unplayable. Also, there are blue/white/red on most holes. Just poorly maintained signage for such. No signage for 10 tee. With Ivy, it’s the worst in the area, easily.
@lacanvict
I haven't played here in a while but a few years ago it was fun, with some challenging hazard shots. I saw comments about needing signs, but when i used to play it, I don't ever remember having to roll the dice on finding the next tee.

@dstrutton252
Not a fan of water hazards like the holes surrounds the pond but other than that it’s a good course

@wlpm04
Poor transition signage in particular from 10 to 11 and from 14 to 15. Muddy in places like most course but this course needs care. Tee for 10 is unclear.
@redpath725
Great course and a mix. Needs signs bad

@ace27803
Needs updated signs and better course navigation. "Next tee" signs are golden

@jordankreese
This is the best course I’ve played in Rocky Mount! A little bit of everything. Water in play on several holes! It’s a little difficult to know where each hole is unless you use this app. Hole 14 basket has moved and is only about 75 yards from tee right next to pond. Course was well mowed and clean other than the massive amount of poison ivy in the woods. Lots of fun!

@ryanrichardson4
Very first time throwing here. Only able to throw the first 9 holes bc my buddy had to go bck to wrk. Looking forward to the rest of the course! Also, check yourself for ticks!!!! My bro and I both had 1 on us.

@enigmagolf
Good luck completing an actual whole round lol
