Beautiful mountain course with a variety of shots. Elevation and trees make it challenging. Well maintained for a ski area course.
@tglass
Excellent seasonal course with some beautiful views and difficult shots
@nixhex311
Beautiful views, very challenging. Nice variety of shots. Restaurant, water filling station and bathrooms at the lift station.
@blove01
Big hike if you don’t take the ski lift, but pretty fun and really good views
@troyhawks
Fun and challenging course for all abilities, top notch views, plays mostly downhill with chair lift access, savory food and beverage.

I have had the fortune to play three different mountain courses in Colorado. I have also played Spearfish Canyon in South Dakota. In my humble opinion those courses are some of the best mountain courses in Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. Red Lodge rivals those courses now, and as good as it is it is only going to get better. Very playable with several birdy opportunities. Open back 9 that still require technique. Front 9 is super fun with technical shots. I met two young guys today that were making the course even better.

This will be a great course when they get it finished and tweak a few things. The scenery is amazing, the front 9 are great, but the back 9 need help. Some baskets in areas with thick vegetation- super easy to lose discs. Hard walking- easy to trip/slide and very few paths. Tee pads are too short. Hole 18 stinks. Tee pad surrounded by trees, doesn’t even face the basket. LH will struggle seriously. Basket near heavy vegetation and a dangerous stream where discs can be easily lost. Great potential on this course, but needs some tweaking. Would like a couple open shots that soar downhill for several hundred feet. Looking forward to playing this again in a year or two.
@dsk666
Coolest course I’ve played, absolutely beautiful, epic, and fun!
@sawyer
This is a brand new course that will only get better as time goes on. I’m a big fan of the variety of tee shots and the scenic views. There are two sets of tee pads on the front, long and short, and one set on the back. The timber frames are coming together nicely and will be a great foundation for the future concrete tee pads. This is going to be the best destination course in Montana!
@emaildaly
This was an overall fun course. Lots of shot variety and amazing views. Lack of tee pads and poor footing are the biggest issues. And you are on a mountain so expect it to be a hike!
@tstockert
Once the course is seasoned in its gonna be even more beaufiul and fun to play
@wyofrolfer
Can't wait for tee pads!
