A beautiful spot. Nice beginner course with enough distance to challenge intermediate players. Only saw a small garter snake, no rattlers. I agree with the one comment that a bridge would make hole seven a lot easier. The walk back to the start is also a trek. Worth the stop!
@birdrock
Baseball and softball activities crowd the course and make it hard to share the space as well as criss crossing the main walking pathways makes pace of game slower while waiting for walker/joggers. I was happy to see a course there though as they are hard to come by in this region so I will take what I can get! They used the elevation and landscape well to create different shots so 18 holes with 9 baskets was not super repetitive. Also the app and layout aren’t currently aligned fully so some guess work is needed as you play.
@jcrenshaw
Park closer to hole 9! It's a trek from 9 to 1 after all of the uphill/downhill on the course😁
@martensdg
Hole 7 needs a bridge across the stream. Major fail. Otherwise ok course.
@jenniwren
There needs to be a footbridge from the tee box of hole 7 to the basket; it’s a long walk. Baskets could use hole numbers on them. Being new we threw to the wrong basket once.
@mkweimer
First off thanks so much to the folks who set up and maintain the course and the park. I had a fun round despite the rain. We stayed the night in the area and hit up the course in the morning after a great breakfast at the Outpost restaurant. The course seems to be newer and I can only imagine it’ll get better with time. Overall I liked it. However google maps had a tough time finding the course and I finally ended up at the parking lot by hole 8. These comments are really just IF there’s desire/funds to make some changes. The walk from hole 9 back to 1 is considerably longer than most courses. And is there even a parking lot near hole 1? I played it from hole 8. I like the quality of the teepad mats but there were 2 holes that were pretty angled that are a bit of a risk. Then the long walk from hole 7 to get over the stream would benefit from a bridge or something to access hole 7 fairway without having to go a long ways back. Ideally another 9 holes could fit in the course with a bit of a redesign allowing the course to end near where it starts.
@napoleon873
Decent 9 hole run with some hillside shots to keep things interesting. 'Top of the World" shot on hole 7 is nice because all the bad shots end up in a flat field. Play 18 a day and you'll get plenty of cardio in.
@chadwickers
Good local course with some short skill shots and large bomber throws! The scenery of the surrounding valley and mountains are also nice as you play.
@tled99
Very fun for a 9 hole course. Some really big, fun shots here. Only in town for a day glad I visited this course!
@phish3460
It's nice that the town has a course, but the layout leaves a lot to be desired. The first three holes play along a very overgrown drainage ditch and a walking path. The seventh hole plays across the ditch and the bridge is missing. The ninth pin is a solid walk from the first tee. There's plenty of space and it could've been utilized in a much better way.
@rjvalade
A nice course for such a small town. Hard to birdie but easy enough to par. Gotta stay clear of that ditch though.
@ayceee
Solid course, top of the world is deadly for discs in the creek so don’t shank it!
@draperson
Tough little course, but super fun stop on a road trip. Watch out for the overgrown drainage ditch - east to lose discs.
@cameron88
Great little course, could use a small footbridge over the creek on hole 7. Overall, great little oasis course!
@puaahunter
First of all, super impressive park in a small town! I was surprised to see a disc golf course here. Signs were nice; Baskets placed in interesting locations. Holes seem a little long for the intended audience, but it was definitely playable. Throwing down the hill on 7 was super fun, but another crossing is needed to not backtrack. The teepads were adequate. Could have played twice, but only went around once, if that says anything. All-in-all, good work by the Parks Dept
@coopdanoodle789
Very cool course. If baskets were leveled just a little more it would be 5 stars.
@zincyellowmach1
Awesome course, well marked, but bring water!!!!!
@pdxrex
Nice signage and some decent tee pads for the level holes, but tee pads are too short for downhill holes. On the flat holes plenty of benches to sit at due to the walking trail. Brand new baskets, look like they have never been used. The holes on the hill are at a steep angle, and physically demanding, limited shade, if playing by yourself, take your time and bring water, it was 90F when I played and I needed 34oz of water to finish. Overall the course is best finished and was fun to play.
