Played in the spring so the brush/weeds were not bad. I can see this course being miserable to play in the summer with no upkeep and very little to no shade. Wide open as you would expect a golf course and the shots were super long which was fun to practice! Bring lots of water and Gatorade if you play in the heat the hills will get your heart rate up!
@ryanbrewer424
A couple great holes, most of the course needs mowing. Needs new tee signs
@reichmusic
Such a diamond in the rough if any club around wasn’t such a lazy poo face
@ahenriks0944
Not a beginners course. Areas are strategically maintained to create fairways, but overgrowth makes it very difficult to locate discs. A few technical wooded area throws, but mostly very long holes, repetitive and not as entertaining as it it frustrating. Be prepared to walk. Alot.
@shecky444
Gorgeous course. Sad to see the pro shop and restaurant closed but hopeful that someone will move in.
@jakeraines42
Awesome course but could use some work on teepads and signs
@sneakyfromdeep
It's unique due to the "old ball golf" course vibe. Some fun holes, but can be a little repetitive. Long course. Not much difference between shorts and longs. Would play again, preferably not on a hot day haha.
@eaglehaslanded
Please update the baskets! The course is fun, but updated baskets would make it much better.
@abeckler22
Best course in Virginia … when new baskets and tee pads are put in. The layout is Incredible! Still a top 5 in the state!
@sjayne
Lovely fairways and layout, could use actual signage and Discatchers would be a vast improvement over the old Prodigy baskets. Well worth the trip and would play again!
@jlm268
Bring your distance driver! Fun, long course.
@xvrmlchrt
Fun course, good opportunities to open up on some distance drivers. Quality teepads are needed, and baskets are, well, prodigy baskets…
@cotywilliams
Very cool course. Absolutely should not cost money since there are not even tee pads or signs telling anything really. Cool shop with big selection
@babachruma
Nice course that is kept up well. Talon is not for beginners/novice; long, but still enjoyable
@tiltedhalos
Minimal signage between holes—would have been difficult to navigate a few places without Udisic. Very well maintained fairways and some beautiful shots! Would give this course itself a 4.5
@cptfury
Great place to spend the day and what a great place to play!
@lward6
Great day on the course. Just rained so a little wet and grass a little high.
@morgcl
Great long course. Good mix of wide open and more technical holes. Well maintained and cleared of growth on the fairways. No concrete tee pads, but in talking to the owner I wouldn’t be surprised to see those down the road.
@calebthebowler
Very nice little Longer than wing more open bombs, tee pads would make this course much more enjoyable
