@gcolmer
Very long grass. All uphill shots.
@bunkyno3
Good for beginners. Odd layoutt but it works. Short, but still worth it if you are already in Raglan.
@raidan
Short easy open course, probably still challenging for beginners. Worth it for the views and being in Raglan
@goldenbukkit
Not worth the drive from Hamilton but could be a fun side activity if you're already heading to Raglan. I don't envy the surrounding home owners who must have to deal with all of the random disks sitting their houses due to the tight structure and location. It doesn't display the sport in a good light which is a shame seeming Waikato doesn't really have many other courses.
@flimflam
Raglan disc golf, “Watch it grow.” The only thing growing is the grass. Possibly the most pathetic attempt at a disc golf course I’ve ever seen. Honestly, don’t waste your gas getting here. There’s a reason why raglan doesn’t have a big disc golf scene. This course is miserable. 4 of the 6 holes require the same shot. It’s tucked away in a housing development. Never have I been so bored doing something I love. This patch of land needs to get developed so they can take the baskets out and put them somewhere else. Don’t bother with this one folks. Not even a disc golf safari could save this one.
@ozroscoe
Could flow better. Next basket is closer than the next tee. Tees are uneven or on a slope. Very hilly and tough to walk around, especially in long grass. Apart from that, has potential.
@geoffblack5
Makes best use of the area. Grass could be mown. Wind could be a challenge.
@henners
Good fun, community course so a little basic but it’s the only one in the greater area so very happy it exists
@swamphawk
Dope little course! Good fun. Slippery when wet
@harrye
Overgrown but nice to have a course in the area-v few in the Waikato region sadly surprising Hamilton has none. Could grow to 9 plenty of space around even with all the houses being built!
@kiwidan
A solid three, straight forward course with six baskets. Zone has great potential, rough hazard, elevation changes. Current layout pretty pointless unless you’ve never played before (did the developers of the subdivision put the course in?), no flow, seems contrary to the natural course of the universe to walk downhill to then throw a straight shot uphill. Make your own layout and you’ll love it.
@nosliwneb
Great course. Beware of hole 6, if it floats right you’ll loose your disc to the swamp
@ladywoody
Cute little course. Perfect for beginners, kids or to work on your short technical game. A lot of potential. Park by 11 omahina street for first tee.
@sbar145
Not very exciting and not worth a drive from Hamilton :(
@seanmills
Great course to practice on and awesome Sunday league! Would love more baskets and area to utilise.
@slingersam
Fun layout for beginners and experienced players, will be great once a few more holes are added
@haydnnz
Signs are in. Tee boxes are yet to be developed but just tee off to the side of the tee sign. Take a picture of the map at Hole 1 to help navigate. So many Safari options!
